And in qld like brisbane. I love my playdoh extruder and bought it just for myself so no play doh has touched it but thought maybe later on I can use a real one as it may be stronger.

Hi to all!!! OK.... children at school... husband at work..... my twin sister who came to visit for a month in May AND IS STILL HERE is away in Milan.... cake baking in oven...... have been listening to podcasts of MATT & JO radio show..... am alone in house ..... BLISS BLISS BLISS. I probably sound tragic but it seems forever I have had a few hours to myself... I even decided the ironing can wait... the computer is much more entertaining!!! Can you believe I drive, walk and wander around house listening to radio podcasts from Melbourne.... then I watch 60min, ACA, and anything else which is available on ninemsn.com.au.... Just to make me nostalgic!!!

Can you ladies believe that here in Italy, husbands always come home for lunch!!!!!! So although my darling hubby is happy with a salad, sandwich... whatever.... loads of women here are expected to cook pasta and then meat or something to follow EVERY day.... and then think about dinner!!!!!!! My husband, Patrizio apologises if he can't come home for lunch.... he doesn't realise how happy I am!!!!!

LOL what a crack up. Lunch every day. You would never get anything done. There is so little time between dropping off kids and picking them up. But I guess some would love to see their partner all the time. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I love the man, but I don't need to see him also at lunch!!! The only time when I am happy about this is when children are home, and it gives me a little breathing space.... but with mu daughter at school, and my son at kinder, both until 4pm..... I am very happy to keep myself busy.

A couple of weeks ago, just as children were about to return to school after 3 month summer holidays icon_surprised.gif I organised a lady to come and catch up on my ironing that had grown over summer..... Now this was a once only thing just to get it all done so I could continue with little piles once kids were at school....... Patrizio came home from work and asked why did I need to have her do my ironing when I had done NOTHING all day!!!! He greatly regretted making that comment,,,, and apologised for a couple of days!!!!!!

Also, getting back to Fran saying about people stealing photos for their websites..... there is a forum topic going on now about this.... basically most of the site is all photos lifted from CC... Someone said she had even left the watermark on one of Nati's photos!!!

Just think of the amazing portfolios we could have if we all did that!!!!

So frankly you are never to old, you don't have to flash em, cleavage can be tasteful too! icon_biggrin.gif

I'm from Randwick/Coogee - quite a hike from Homebush, but I can do it blindfolded, now icon_lol.gif

I'm very sorry to hear about your mum. It's hard at any age.
All joking aside, I actually have no cleavage, being a breast cancer survivor from a young age (36 the first time, 36 the second) and I wasn't a candidate for reconstruction. So, to all you lovelies out there, REGULAR CHECKS, PLEASE! I consider myself extremely lucky to have survived (though my surgeon referred to my survival as sheer, bloody stubbornness!), but I saw some heartbreaking cases while I was in hospital.

Wear 'em with pride, ladies! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

And I am so there for having a Champagne Slushy thumbs_up.gif I haven't had one yet but I'm sure I will be having one soon 'coz I'd love to try one!! party.gif

OMG I can't believe you have to do a course for that!!

Our horses LOVE massage - I just go and rub them where I think it may feel good - OK that's sounding a bit toot rood - and I esp. love it when I rub them at a point on their spine really hard and they pull this camel looking face with their lips. MAkes us laugh every time.

My neighbour also said - maybe we could use the "Vacola" thermometer - And I said I don't think you'd be using it for your jams and preserves again, will you??

My sister has some funny photos of the horses pulling faces with pleasure... on is taken at a bad angle... so it looks like my sister has her hand up the horses bum.!! If anyone comes back to this topic now and just reads our last messages, they will wonder what on earth the ausiie girls are going on about!!!!!!!!!!!

OK... off to make my buttercream and cover my cakes... not that I feel motivated... and it is due for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening Girls - just spent 3/4 hour catching up!!
Maria - best you leave the "Mountains Rural Retreat" for a while - lots of local properties locked down with quarantine. I work in Real Estate locally and BOY! I didn't realise how it would affect our industry - Property inspections have become a "shower in between" disposal overclothes and boots, park outside the property (and perhaps have to walk 1/2 mile in and out!) Ripple effect I hadn't considered!! BUT boy am I clean!
Where abouts are you located?

Hey Toni - my sister flies out for Italy, Europe and UK on Monday - I'll get her to drop you off some Tim Tam's hahaha

Love the photos, girls! Will try to attach one of me (I'm one of the patty cakes, I'm afraid!!) Yep, family history leads me to my yearly mammogram and those bloody operators try and make boobs out of nothing at all!! They keep pulling trying to fill that damn machine with half my backbone I think!

Anybody notice the "what peeves me" thread where the complaints keep coming about ALL the posts in the GENERAL that are NOT CAKE RELATED.... do you think they mean US!!

Actually the hand turned out really great. My daughter murdered the letters I had made on wires so I am desperately hoping that the new K sets tonight. PLus I have the BC letters in the freezer. I have shocking handwriting. Will post a pic as soon as I can.

I've made a few different types - mostly they are the fudgy type which doesn't rise much BUT the new "Gluten Free" flours by White Wings (I think) but anyway found in the same spot as the 'normal flours' work GREAT - I have just substituted it for the 'normal flour' and haven't noticed much difference - it helps if you try and find a recipe that only has say, 1/2 to 1 cup of flour, perhaps with the addition of almond meal or soy flour to make up the difference. Tip: don't try and turn the cake out whilst it is still hot. The GLUTEN is what gives cakes structure and support - try and let cool a bit in the tins. Don't get very high cakes either so best to make 2 and torte. Let me know if you want any recipes - I can PM them to you
