Monica,
If you PM me your address I will send you a little of mine so you can try it.

It's just sitting in the fridge. I pay $13 for 2 lbs. The best part is that if you order today, you get it tomorrow. They are super fast.

doescakestoo,
On occasion, it's still about hating Wilton fondant but it's also about cookies, black fondant, nursery rhymes, butt lipo sucking, penguin poking, road trip, messy toddlers and tipping questions, airbrush and edible printers oh! and bad spellers with ADHD and turrets.

nrctermite,
So you're saying I can't dull out the shiny on the rolled BC?

I'm not exactly sure why, but that was hilarious.

Ah, on another thread a member made a remark because we drifted from the subject. It rubbed me the wrong way because if you don't like it then click the stop watching or add a post in the direction of the origional subject.

Your right this has turned into the funzone with tips on baking & decorating.

I can't find my recipt I will have to look for it, I think I paid $35 for 5lb Satin Ice. I can't remember if that was with the shipping, maybe not. I will look for it.

I have a cake I have to go check on.

I was going to show you a song my Mother use to sing to upset me. It doesn't have bad words or anything like that, it's just a little creepy. I'm afraid someone will report me so I changed my mind. Now, I sing it to my daughter and she say's "Mom, stop that, it's creepy, quit" Which makes me only continue.

I had roller skates with the key around my neck.

I agree, if you don't want to participate in this thread then don't.

I don't have a problem with sharing anything on here. We ARE discussing cake stuff.

Nothing bad or offensive is being discussed.

So Wilton's courses (in Chicago) I find are also a little pricey. icon_wink.gif

itsloops, you can go to cocoaoutlet.com, to the contact us section, fill it out and in the comment part say you are requesting samples and put your address. They'll send you a big thick envelope of yummy fondant samples. The FondX is my favorite, like mellow buttercream.

I can't believe the things people get upset about on here. Everyone's always "it just my opinion.." Are we really that sensitive that we need to apoligize in advance for something we might say? I'm the born worrier here, too! I worried about that joke that said "weenie". I'm just saying, we know its your opinion. icon_smile.gif Please feel free to share it proudly.

We are on topic, if you read it from the beginning it does follow an order and progression. 27 pages of posts into it you can't be still talking about hating wilton's fondant. There's only so much to say. Even the Duff's Buttercream thread strays to the subject of Duff's integrity and cleanliness and other states health guidelines.

3 cakes out, 1 got damaged on the side icon_cry.gif , I'll have to spackle. 1 in the oven. It came out super yummy though.

Since shipping from Hawaii is expensive, you may wish to order these tasty fondants direct from the maker www.caljavaonline.com . If you call to place your order, you will get the wholesale price. Plus there is a special right now where you get a huge discount if you order the 10 lb bucket of fondx and the 10 lb of white chocolate fondant. I recommend using a 50/50 mix of these two fondants.

Hello everyone!

Happy Thursday! Okay, I had a lot to read to catch up and now I have to order fondant samples??!!! Man, now what is DH going to do when 50# of fondant shows up at the house?! icon_surprised.gif

loops, it's good to see you. Did you do the drive??

Oh, I don't mind straying from the subject either. I just go elsewhere if I don't like how the subject changed. I kind of like the real getting to know everyone! icon_lol.gif

Cake_freak, did you decide to decorate your cookies? how did your commercial go?

hi Cathyfowler,
I missed you today. I didn't do the drive but I will be doing it this evening. They had a delay and it's going to be ready at 10:00 p.m. this evening. I just want to get it overwith. Now I have to go home, take a nap and prepare for that nice little drive. I think it's 420 miles or so. Ugh!!

I love fondant. Just not Wiltons.

I do like the fact that we've gotten to know each other better.

L.A. Gear and leg warmers. icon_redface.gif I liked those.

IMHO Straying from the subject is fun. I'm really enjoying this thread. It's very educational. Now I have to go and order some samples. Are they free or is there a charge? Will they ship them to MA?

My son is going to be a rocker too. Maybe they can form a band together. He's also 13. How funny.

All this talk about cocoa and fondant has made me crave chocolate. mmmmmmmmmmm

Monica, I remember that. Getting to know you.....

Well, I'm going home to nap now. See you on here in a couple of hours for more Wilton fondant bashing.

Tootles!

Monica you crack me up. Weenie, weenie, weenie. icon_lol.gif

loops tell them that your friends on CC don't want you to go.

I'v got my kitchen 1/2 clean. One cake in the oven and one more to go.

If I was doing this order for a customer it would be $504.00. I can't charge my dauther, can I icon_rolleyes.gif Just kidding icon_razz.gif

When I look at the amount it seems so much. But for a Fondant cake I charge $2.50 pp and the cookies are $2.50 ec. I know it seems like a lot for the cookies but those bows take forever and they are bagged with ribbon. I have been working all week on this and the cost of the supplies, I don't have to tell you about that.

But if you think my prices are high, please, please tell me please. Like most of us it's crazy coming up with prices.

Ok, here is something to think about. Marsha from the Brady Bunch is 50
