I think it's near Monroe. She's actually building her home there now (in Monroe)

The best I can explain about where I live is near Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland.

icon_redface.gif I'm not sure. She moved there 3 years ago and I have not visited her yet. I plan on it this year. Not sure when.

Is Virginia's the chicken place at Knotts?

And I totally agree with you on hating wilton fondant...did that for my wedding cake a few years ago(my second wedding and first time using fondant), and it is truly terrible!!

Wow...I stopped reading after reading this..........you're pretty rude...I mean haven't you heard the old saying, "If you don't have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all!".....if it was really that "hard" to read then you should have ignored it and went to the next post (that you could read.)

I had no problem reading her post!

I usually don't reply to rude posts such as this one but I guess I'm not in a great mood tonight and when I read this it just really rubbed me the wrong way.........

Glad Im not the author of the original post..I sure hope I dont ever get a reply like this to any of my postings..wow how rude!

Welcome back Cathy!

I'm all done with my billing.

Torrance is about 15 miles from here. I used to go to AZ every summer to stay for about 1 week or 2. My mom's good friend lived in Mesa so we'd visit. All I remember it was hot as he**.

I'm not sure. I haven't been to Knotts in about 2 years.

Hi Cake_Freak......I'm glad they liked your cake! I've tasted Wilton's fondant once and it is yucky....maybe you could try making MMF fondant. If you need the recipe I have it. If want it just let me know.

Hello ladies. I have been on here since I put my daughter to bed and been cracking up reading this thread. Would you believe this past 1 hour I sat here and read every single reply? It is sooooooo freikin' funny. Especially enjoyed the potty song and the Tarzan bit too. Hmmm, I think I will start singing the potty song to my baby, I am starting to potty train her..... heeheehee. But the grammar thing was just rude - not funny!

Janette, not fair, please do tell the creepy song - so mean to tease us like that and then not share, isn't it? Please do tell, I am dying over here now.
(you can see I am in great need of a life, but what to do?)

As for old tv stuff, anyone remember the annoying little kid with the crownon the margarine commercial that used to go "da da da-daaaaa - Imperial !" To this day everytime I see margarine that plays in my head. Needless to say I hate margarine, LOL...

Oh, BTW, WILTON SUCKS DIRT!
There, just wanted to do my part, LOL... icon_wink.gif

oh I HATE that when people do that - you are right, it is NEVER good when it rings that late, and if it's a crank call then you are up the rest of the night wondering, isn't it? I know I get scared as in-laws are overseas, so night here is day there and I always worry that maybe it was them and they got disconnected or something. Sometimes I'll call and then my MIL will be worried too, LOL...

Ok, I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna know the creepy song.
It is KILLING me, PLEASE PLEASE P-L-E-A-S-E ?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!

Do you think it's the one about the hearse? You know the one

Dont you ever laugh when the hearse goes by
for you may be the next to die

It then goes on to say

The worms crawl in the worms crawl out
The worms play pinochle on your snout

Of course it could be ring around the rosies you know THAT song is about the Black Plague!!!!

Ring around the rosiesrepresents the rash that comes during the 1st stage of the Bubonic plague. Pocket full of posies comes from when the people afflicted with the aliment would start to smell terribly so they would stuff flowers into their to help disguise the odor of decay I dont think that I need to explain ashes to ashes we all fall down kind of speaks for it self.
Children use to sing this to plague victims to taunt them
