I must ask MMDD...What exactly did you make that cake for? It definitely is the grossest.

It was made for one of my cousins as a prank. He didn't know what to think...or do.

I can imagine. It is quite funny though. In my sick disgusting mind, I can imagine some add in's that would make it look really interesting. HAHAHA

ROFLMAO icon_lol.gif
This was great...and such a long thread icon_eek.gif
I must say I do have a disaster cake...I was trying so hard to make it really neat...and all it did was stress me out and cause me to get into a serious argument with my hubbie at the anniversary party for my BIL/SIL and us. My SIL appreciated the cake just the same though. icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif
The straws stuck in the sides were done out of sheer desparation. The cake might have held up better if it had not been such a HOT day outside. Oh and the back of the boat fell completely off...but you know what..looking at this cake makes me want to try this again now that I have better understanding of cake construction icon_wink.gif

Thank you all for showing me even the best of you have bad days! I wanted to share my worst cake. Here's the story....for my mom's birthday we decided to surprise her at her favorite restuarant. Well my siblings only gave me a 4 hour notice and said don't forget to make a cake! Like I can just whip one up like that (I'm only decorating for the past year). So by the time I baked the cake, cooled it and crumb coated I only had 45 minutes to finish decorating it before I had to leave so I thought it would be fast to just use the Wilton Color Mist sprays to make it easy. I was wrong. It was my first time and I have absolutely no clue why I choose green, purple, blue and yellow - what was I thinking? I was too embarrassed that I never took a picture. I actually had to ask my sister of a copy of the picture so I can post it here.

My vote goes to the bootie cake. As weird as the poo cake is, it actually looks like poo so it is kind of cool, in a sick way. Thanks for all the laughs! Can't wait to learn more from everyone here.

Here's an idea...........take the booties and the "barbie" cake and the poo and put them together. Hmm.............now that would defintitely be a "worst cake".

I think the barbie cake is great, except that it looks like she has dark circles under her eyes. If that was fixed, I think it would be a very pretty cake.

I vote for the booties and the ladybug! No, the baby! icon_wink.gif
Ok, I don't HAVE any ugly cakes to put on here! icon_wink.gif But then that's just cause I haven't MADE any cakes yet!! Unless you count the cupcakes in my gallery and they were just butt-UGLY!! HOWEVER, I will be doing my FIRST cake Wed. It's for a birthday....Snickers cake (that I've never tried!)....probably with buttercream frosting (that I've never made before)...ANDDDDDDD an 8 inch round chocolate transfer of a dartboard that will cover almost the enire cake! Oh, yeah......and I thought that wasn't enough first's that I'd "whip up" some MMF and make darts to go along with the dartboard.

Now how many of you want to bet I"M going to win that ugly contest?! icon_lol.gif

Ok, guys! Can't say you weren't warned!! Here they are...although I don't think they will beat out the booties and the transvestite cakes! icon_wink.gificon_lol.gif

This isn't a decorated cake, but I was horrified at the outcome nonetheless.

This was a cheesecake that was to be a "roll-out-and-surprise-the-bride's-niece" birthday cake at a wedding last month. The cheesecake was baked perfectly, and just before delivery - and right out of the fridge - I piped the message...in red. Stupid me, I forgot about condensation, and sure enough, when we arrived and I unboxed it, the red ran in all the condensation like a river. I didn't take a "before" pic but it looked like rivulets of blood were running off of the message across the whole freaking cheesecake. I grabbed a couple of gingerbread biscotti from the dessert table, crushed them up and sprinkled them on the cake to cover the bloody river up. The strawberries I grabbed off the caterer's tray and fanned out didn't quite take the focus off the ugliness, nor did the powdered sugar on top of the biscotti crumbs. I bet the sparkler candles didn't either. UGH!!!

Cakepro: that sounds like something I would do...I could just see someone running around frantically grabbing things off the dessert table icon_surprised.gificon_lol.gif Well, I guess you found a new topping for cheesecake thumbs_up.gif

I actually did the same thing writing on a cheesecake & didn't realize that it would run & had to cover it up with whipped cream & drizzle choc & carmel over it. They thought I meant to do it this way shhh.gificon_biggrin.gif
