PM me your e-mail address. I just resized chewy's pic and I think it would work. I will send it to you.
OH, twins you are tooooooo modest
hahaha.....I guess for the same reason I got the feeling you were trying to back on out of it !!!!
That thing is soooo darn funny!!!! I can't stop laughing at it!
I'm so glad everyone in here has such a great sense of humor!!! I just hope we opened the door for all those ugly cakes to be.....and that they will get their photo taken too and be proudly shown...right here on CC ![]()

Yeah... many times I've thought some of the comments in the galleries section were a little too nice ![]()
Come on ladies, let it all hang out...don't hold back...reveal your true feelings...let us have it!! ![]()
Look what I woke up to
Here is the model I used for inspiration when I was creating my work of art:
If the grounghog were white.... LOL
I am having just a wonderful time following this thread. I am at work so am trying to keep the laughter down a little, but am snorting a lot. I love all these creative and inventive cakes. I think my favorite is all the things the hubbys are saying. Who knew men could be so funny! I have hope for the future, and the next bad cake I make I will take a picture, that shouldn't be too long. Keep it up ladies and gents. This is great. I love chewy.
Newtodecorating, your picture had me spewing pineapple juice out of my nose!! No joke. I am still laughing at this thread. Really, we should see if we managed to set somesort of CC record for participation in a thread.
peachshortcake, I knew I forgot to list a few things in my disclaimer, however, pineapple juice out the nose never even crossed my mind.
If the groundhog were white what?
The abominable snowman????
He might look like that only not as cute!
LOL LOL I can't stop laughing...this is great!!! Why should we hide our awful cakes??? They should be for the world to see!!!!
BE PROUD OF ALL YOUR CAKES LADIES!!!!!
Genesiscakes, I can totally appreciate this cake!! Reminds me of some of the things I've tried. You know, when you sit and create the cakes in your mind, the little tricks you come up with always turn out great, yet when you go to put your plans into action we sometimes end up with a train wreck.
I've been there more times than I care to admit! ![]()
It's still cute though! ![]()
You guys are SOOO funny . . . I loved the four year old asking why the green men were trying to hurt Santa!
I'm wondering how to animate Chewy wearing the booties--I think the perfect music would be "The Yeti Stomp" by the Backyardigans (for those of you with little people around).
Love this thread--and all those brave enough to post photos--look how much laughter you've shared! Love this!
thank you wendysue...that means alot!!!
hey the best part is that kids love it no matter what it looks like.
but it still looks like a big pile of yellow poop!!! LOL!
genesis...I love the idea you had!!!! ![]()
but I really love your little bees with their big smiles!!!
Kind of reminds me of the pis they show you in biology of our intestines. I hear you about kids! My daughter just sat and ate a whole ribbon made of Wilton fondant. Not only was it not pretty, that stuff tastes aweful too, then again she eats play dough too! At least yours probably tasted good.
actually it reminded me of play dough...haven't we all tasted that as kids??? or is it only me? LOL
Whats cracking me up about the bee hive cake is the bee's eyes. They are all cross eyed. I can not stop laughing about it!! ROTLFMBO!!
thanks twinsline 7...the bday girl loved the bees also. what brought it out more was all the party decorations was yellow and black. so the cake blended in well.
So I have been following this thread and decided to post a few BAD cakes
. Mind you one of the I had made this morning (american eskimo cake) I had a totally different vision
! The other is my "paradise" cake
, my husband & I couldn't figure why it looked so WRONG
. Well we figured it out....the "waterfall" oh so beautiful waterfall
looks like a dam volcano whith Blue pretty lava
. Enjoy
......oops...I deleted them on my computer
(smart) they are in my gallery.....
Those bee's look like they've had a little too much nectar!!!
I really had some good laughs reading this thread. I have a lot of comments, but all in Danish as my English isn't that good. Here is my first cake, all lumpy and with a bad colour combination - as many others I was so proud to present this to my co-workers. The worst cake I have made was a soccer ball. The fondant cracked, the ball looked deflated and the pattern was all wrong. I made it last week-end and it was so bad that I didn't even take a picture of it. Fortunately, practice does help
Okay, I have been dying laughing reading all of this but the really funny thing is that no one else gets it. You can try to explain what your laughing at but you just get the blank stare.
Unforunately, I don't have a picture around of my really bad ones because I try not to have any evidence.
iceburg I am sooo glad you said that because my DH thinks I am nuts! He just called and I told him what I did with the Chewy photo because I was so proud I remembered how to do it and he said--"WHY would you do that? I said because I thought it was funny and so did alot of people on CC. His reply--"Aren't these the same people that thought they would pee themselves over a cake picture?"
The outside world just doesn't get it!!
