Dr. Seuss Cat In The Hat Cookies
These were for my son's class on Dr. Seuss's b-day. The were so fun to make- and easy because they can be a little messy. TFL!
Sports Themed Cookies
These were to match a sports themed cake for a baby shower. It is so fun to hang cloths line at the party and attach the cookies with little clothed pins as thank you gifts.
This was so messy to make! After the fondant, I painted on RI and stuck grahm cracker crumbs on the sides! It is still everywhere in my kitchen! The seashells are white chocolate.
This cake ws inspired by a great one here on CC! Harry is made from fondant. Decided to look up HP quotes and write the on the side of the cake too. My fav was "Follow the Spiders?! Why couldn't it have been "Follow the Butterflies?"- Ron Weasley. =0)
This is my entry for the 2009 Arizona Cake and Sugar Art Show! I was so thrilled to have won 1st place in the advanced division and Best in Show!
This was made using 3 6" rounds stacked together then turned on their sides. Pretty simple. The "ash" is just powdered sugar with a little black food coloring mixed in. TFL!
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
The head, foot and hand are dummies. I found that the head was too heavy when I covered it in fondant so I just painted RI on it and airbrushed it black. I wish I would have put another layer of RI on though, but I was in a hurry. Thanks to all how have made one before me for the inspiration!
Nativity Cookie Bouquet
This was so fun to make! They are NFSC with blue glace and RI piping. Great gift for my daughter's preschool teachers.
Gold And Red Wedding
This was my 2nd 5 tier wedding cake, The rhinestones are not edible and had to be removed before cutting of course. T hanks for looking!
John Deere Baby Shower
This was a simple little cake done for a John Deere themed baby shower. The tractor is RKT covered in fondant. Thanks for Looking!
This was my first 5 tier! It went really well, and I didn't have any problems even with the hour delivery! The sparkles are not edible Swarovski Crystals, (someone is going to have fun takin all those off before cutting! haha) Thanks for looking!
Chocolate Transfer Cake
This is the cake I made for my sister's 22 b-day this year. We have a cousin who is drew this picture of her, so I made it into a chocolate transfer. It was fun and girly, and she loved it.
Butterflies And Flowers
This was a cake for a little girl's b-day that was in my preschool class. I sort of made it up as I went and this is how it turned out. TFL!
This was inspired by a CC member's adorable baby cake. Please forgive me because I can't find her name, but her's is AWESOME! The head is half the wilton ball pan, and the body was a glass bowl I have. TFL!
Little Mermaid Cookies
These were such a PAIN! NFSC, Glace, RI, and painted accents. I literally spent at least 10 hours on 40 of these! I know I will not do these again! I had to paint the face on each one, etc, etc. I sure hope that the birthday girl liked them. -0) I am glad that I gave them a try though because they definately pushed my comfort zone a little!
UGH! I am not a fan of LM cakes! It is so hard to get the character to look the the one in the movie. I don't think I came even close, but it was the best I could do on a short time span. (I had to do 40 matching cookies and they took FOREVER!!!! -- about 10 hours!) So I didn't have as much time to work on the cake because the cookies took so long, that is why it is pretty plain. Anyways, TFL!
