Hannah Montana Stars
little star favors to go with a hm guitar cake. The HM logo was piped with RI and then added to the cookie once the glace was on. SOOOOOO much easier than trying to pipe the exact logo on each cookie!
Hannah Montana Guitar
So fun to make! I had a lot of inspiration here on cc! It was carved from a 1/4 sheet cake, and had matching cookie favors
So, I was really unsure about this cake. The bride sent me a pic of something similar done with black feather/leaves, but wanted them in the mermaid color. I think it turned out nice once all the fresh flowers were added.
Pistol Pete/OSU- the pete plaque was made of dried fondant and then I freehanded Pete and the OSU logo.
Noah's Ark Baby Shower
This is the 2nd time I have done a NA cake. I changed it up a little this time though. All the figures are fondant and the boat is RKT covered with fondant. TFL!
My FIL asked me to make something for him to bring to work for a lady who got a promotion. He said she loved Wizzard of Oz, so this is what I came up with. The slippers are fondant. I got the gingham design on the fondant ribbon by using painters tape and my airbrush machine. Super fun and easy! TFL!
Someone asked me to post these, so here they are. This is how I do my tastings. They are mini loafs. I usually slice them in half and put a different layer of filling per cake.
Dr. Seuss B-Day Cake
This is the 2nd cake like this I have done, but this time it was a b-day scene on the bottom half. Thanks for Looking!
This was for a SB themed b-day party. I didn't want to make a figurine, so this is what I came up with. IT was inspired by several other here on cc, especially the one on the pillow tutorial.
Daisy Hello Kitty
This was for my daughter's 5th b-day. Simple and sweet, Kitty and decorations are fondant. =0)
Dr Seuss Baby Shower
This is one of my most favorite cakes yet! It was for a Dr. Seuss themed baby shower. The m-2-b painted beautiful Dr. Seuss scenes all over the nursery, so it was neat to be able to do this for her. The bottom tier was directly inspires by auntiemcakes, and the top was inspired by many other cakes here on cc. I used my airbrush for a lot of the color, and a tiny paintbrush with black airbrush color for the details. It took about 4 hours just to decorate! TFL!
Vintage Copper Zebra
How to describe this cake... The bride wanted copper zebra stripes, and feathers and pearls. The topper is a gumpaste frame with a picture. The reception was so neat and had all these vintage frames with the couples pics hanging fron the ceiling. My hubby came up with the idea to make frame borders on each tier to tie it all in. Way to go hubby! (I was stuck- I have carved the cakes in a little at the bottom, so the plates stuch out and my pearls borders were too little.)
Haha- this cake is so silly. I used a heart pan for the general shape and I also filled both halves of the Wilton ball pan about 1" with batter for a little extra "umph!" TFL!
This was for a lady that is having twins! The cake and cookies match the bedding set. (I made 30 cookies for them to hang from a clothes line with clothes pins as a thank you gift)
This was the second Mario cake for my son's birthday this year. I ran out of time so I didn't get to as many decorations on the sides as I wanted, but it impressed all the 6 year olds anyways. =0)
This was the first cake for my son's birthday this year. We went bowling with our family on his actual b-day and took this with us. TFL!
