Breast Cancer Fundraiser
I was asked to make a cake for a local owner of a Cheerleading Company. The families were raising money for her because she has very sesrious breast cancer and was dropped from her insurance carrier. I also donated 100 matching cupcakes with a chocolate pink ribbon on each. TFL!

Cigar Box
I made this for an event at the cigar bar my dad "lives" at. It was for their 1 year aniversary. The lid is gumpaste, the cigars are modeling chocolate, and the labels were black fondant painted with wilton white. It was fun to listen to people say "Did you see the cake?"-"no- where is it?"- "right there"- "where?"-"right there!!!"-" What? That's a cake??!!" So fun!

Leaf Cake
My sister's ex-bff (ooh long story there) found a picture of this cake in a magazine. It is not my original design, but I accidently threw away the photo with the artists name on it. If you know who made it please let me know and I will credit them with the concept. It was still fun to make, but took forever to pipe all those leaves. I used a tip 2 for all of the piping.

Bottle Of Dom
The Dom bottle is a RKT with a hand painted label. the bucket is cake and the ice if sugar. For some reason they wanted truffles too- and because I waited till the last minute I didn't have time to make a gumpaste box for them to sit in so I took a foil cupcake liner, covered the inside with chocolate, then peeled it off once it hardened and Voila!- a little truffle holder. The bucket was something that was sort of inspired by one Pink Cake Box did. TFL!

Double Heart Wedding
So this cake was not exactly my style, I really don't like piping- but it was fun anyways. The wedding was literally double hearts everywhere, so I think it fit well. Let me just warn anyone who has to match David's Bridal Watermelon ribbon- DO NOT look at the website for a color match- get the real ribbon. It is a totally different color on the website and I had to redo 110 borders on the cookie favors and it took forever!

Ridiculous Cake!
So- my best friend wanted a cake and the b-day boy requested that the cake have. and I quote- "A Dragon, Bruce Lee, A Blond Hooter Girl, a Ying Yang sign, and fire". So yeah- this is what I came up with - A Dragon fighting a hooter girl in a kung fu suit Bruce Lee style.... sometimes I just don't know what else I could possibly fit on a cake!

Wwii Love Letters
This was a the cake I did at the 2010 AZ Cake Show's Live Cake Challenge. The theme they gave us was "Love" and we had 2 1/2 hours. We were able to bring 1/3 of the decorations made and an unfrosted cake along with our supplies. I decided on a WWII era cake. This was a hat box, filled with old letters/envelopes, some gloves, and pearls. The letter was actually written by my husband as if he were a soldier the day after D-day. There was also another envelope, wedding bands, and a monogramed handkerchief. It was so much fun and I actually won the contest. TFL!
