hi all!

First time posting on this thread. Last night dinner was roast chicken with mashed cauliflower & glazed carrots.

Trying to eat a bit healthier so I needed a mashed potato alternative.

Welcome to the table shalini1. I love mashed cauliflower. I haven't made it in a long time. I may have some this week.

I didn't cook last night, my family ate leftover soup. I was out wedding dress shopping with my oldest daughter. After we were done we went out to a local place to eat. I had a hula salad, with pineapple, chicken, oranges and some other things. It was really good.

Today will be our "free" day. I think my husband wants to go eat Greek food. Always yummy.

Great buy on the chickens mkolmar. Funny about the purple potatoes. I remember the first time the older kids had blue corn chips. Same reaction from them.

Have a great weekend.

We took the kids to Cheddar's tonight. We had Texas cheese fries (minus bacon due to allergies), Sante Fe Spinach dip (my 1 yr old loved it), Queso and chips for appetizers. Dh had Steak and shrimp, carrots, and baked potato. I had Steak, broccoli and baked potato. 3 kids had Monte Crisco dogs (corn dogs) and fries. One had Penne pasta with marinara.

This was the first time since Meredyth was 5 months (she's 21 mo now) that they've been anywhere but fast food due to her allergies. She did really well though.

tonight was a local chinese restaurant. I had sweet and sour chicken. Tomorrow we're celebrating my little girls 2nd birthday already. So soup, sandwhiches, and of course cake. Well kinda... i'm making a rice crispy treats cake since i was home alone with the kids this week and just didn't manage my time well.

Hi Everyone! I've been away for such a long time that I am almost ashamed to post. icon_redface.gif I hope everyone has been well.

It looks like a lot of chicken soup has been on the table, and I am just going to add to it. Tonight is roasted chicken noodle soup. DH has been sick this week, and I am a firm believer that chicken soup makes you feel better. It just works a lot better if someone else makes it. icon_lol.gif

Hey Dragon, welcome back to the table. Missed ya!

Last night my friend called and her husband had the flu. I went in his place to a country concert. Loved it! Leann Womack, Reba McEntire and George Strait played. It was a lot of fun. I had a bottle of water and chili cheese fries for dinner.
Tonight is the birthday meal for my brother that my mom is cooking. Stewed potatoes, meatballs with gravy, biscuits and texas sheet cake.

We went out to a place called Noodles & Co. last night. DH won their drawing with business cards, so dinner was free. I really like their food so it was a good time. I had Japanese pan noodles with shrimp and part of a Chinese chop salad.

Monday night I made sausage stew.

Tonight is going to be chicken fajitas with a black bean rice salad.

Last night we went to my SIL and had a pizza part with her family. Then all the guys played Risk and me and my SIL just got a chance to talk and play with the kids (they have 4 we have 2) it was a nice relaxed evening and my kids were in a good mood even though we were out hours past their bed time.

Running errands today and hopefully scoring some awesome deals at the store with coupons so tonight will probably be lasagna that i have in the freezer.
