Kind of a left over night. Dh had left over steak from other night. Son had left over beef and noodles. DD is sick with bad sore throat, eating only soft stuff alittle at a time. Going to doctor tomorrow. As for me not a clue yet. Probaly something that is easy for my husband to eat when he gets home in the morning. icon_cry.gif I don't know icon_cry.gif

Sorry I excused myself away from the table for 2 nights ladies, but DH came home from Cali. Sunday night.

Sunday: DH bought Chinese

Monday: Chicken Alfredo
Cucumber salad
Mixed Veggies
French Bread

KC: I hope your DD does well. We've been real sick around here. I'm afraid to see what Winter will be like.

SwampWitch: I'm with Knox on the Party food it sounds finger licking good.

Knox: That sleep did you good! Your humor is back and so is your appetite.

See you all at the dinner table later. icon_smile.gif

Oh my goodness--Kay!

Sure do hope your family gets better. Early last night I removed a toddler from a home because he was sick with something like that, and nobody gave a damn. Geez. thumbsdown.gif

Everyone here in TN is getting that stuff. Wicked.

Monica: Can I have the recipe for the "butterdream" frosting? I'd like to try it.

Morningglories: I simply adore some cucumber salad! Just pack some up with dry ice and ship it, girl! Do it now, so I don't have to buy lunch on Friday. *waits patiently by mailbox while tapping toes*

Tonight?

Broasted wild goose
Some kind of potatoes
Corn
Tea

KC: How's that baby-girl doing? Wishing you the energy to take care of her, & her the energy to get better.

jm: Buffet sounds like an excellent Diet. You get to pick what you want to eat and you walk it off everytime you visit the buffet table.....what? isn't that the way it works? icon_rolleyes.gif

mxp: LOVE both of those soups. Can you please slide a bowl of it this way? icon_smile.gif

Knox: Sorry no salad left. icon_sad.gif We have rabbits for kids they ate it all! icon_eek.gif

OH: Good girl, oven baked is the way to go, thats keeping those arteries clean. thumbs_up.gif

Tonight's Dinner:
Soup for everybody, each picked their own flavor of Progresso. No one wanted the same thing.

Water, lot's of water

Everyone is still feeling out of sorts, so it's off to bed now.
Hey has anyone noticed that the 'Missus' of the 'Supper Table' has been MIA?... icon_confused.gif Ohara, do you know where Tara is? icon_lol.gif....Sorry ladies I couldn't resist. See you again tomorrow.

Ok here's the scoop DD has strep. Bad news I am starting to have sore throat with cough. Doc said if anybody in family starts to show symptoms and fever call for a perscription. icon_cry.gif DD had alittled cheesy mashed potatoes from box mix (I made them alittle on watery side so easier to eat) and some jello afterit finally set up enough. Last night I made up my chicken rice burritos. So DH had that and son doesn't like the rice. So when I make it I take some of the taco flavored chicken out for him to make tacos that is what he had. Tonight now that DD is asleep I have to bake cake for class on Thur. Doing course 3 present cake. Also on Thur. is parent teacher conferences. I will be pushin for time so getting the cake baked tonight to ice with buttercream tomorrow night. Thanks everyone for your concerns. Doc gave her a choice shot or liquid meds she picked liquid so it will take longer to get over. I wanted her to get the shot. I left it up to her it is her butt they would put the needle in not my big butt. Well I better get to makin cake icon_biggrin.gif And knox I feel for that little boy that is so icon_cry.gif I may blow off sore throat sometimes cause I know colds are going around. But she looked like crap felt like crap and had a fever. So we got in to the doc as soon as we could. He said alot of stuff is already going around icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

We had Great Value Hamburger Helper. Lasagna flavor. We like the Great Value flavor better than the Betty Crocker. It was covered in shredded cheese. Oh and everyone else had fried potatoes. ( I can't stand fried potatoes. ) And sliced of bread and cheese. I had chocolate and carmel ice cream from Blue Bunny for dessert.

Gals, I'm about to drop. Seriously. Drop into bed and...

Well, I was gonna say"not wake up until noon." But the reality is, I'll be back up again at 5:30! Dangit. icon_mad.gif

I worked afternoons today, and cleaned the house top to bottom before I went. Oh well...it's done for a few more days! icon_rolleyes.gif

Tonight, they had:

Steak & gravy (from scratch)
Peas
Mashed potatoes
Oreo cake
Tea & Coke

--Knox--

Ohara: I know people may be looking at you like " icon_confused.gif " right now because of the relish thing, but that actually sounds GOOD to me--especially with chili!

Kay: I happen to just love fried 'taters. And I'm the queen of makin' 'em, too!

Juju: What stores carry the "Great Value" brand? I think I've used it before. Like here, there's Food City stores, and their brands sometimes are MUCH better than the national ones. Saves us $$, too. Oh, and girrrrl--we gotta get you onto some fried 'taters! It just ain't right for someone to turn down the 'taters!

Monica: Thanks for the recipe...I'm going to try that one soon!

Ugh you won't ever catch me eating fried taters...lol. Mom fixed them every night when I was growing up and now I can't stand them. I will eat mashed or baked or pretty much any way but fried. "Great Value" is Wal-Mart.

Tonight we had Spaghetti (w/ground turkey and rotini instead of hamburger and spaghetti noodles) and Garlic toast.
