new around here, been lurking for awhile and really had to reply to this thread. I have laughed so much!! The christmas ornament had me rolling for hours, it looked like a demented pumpkin.
My worst one I don't have a pic of it and I wish I did. It was a carrot cake that for some reason fell in the middle and just imploded before I even got to frost it. Tasted good but something went wrong, I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't put in nuts and maybe that important??
Also the cupcakes I did for my dd's birthday one year. I baked 24 and spelled out letters on each one to say "happy birthday (daughter's name). Don't go cheap and put the icing in a no name sandwich bag with the corner cut off (at least use a ziploc! LOL) it was so bad.

OK, I have several, but here's my new favorite worst cake. It was for my sons 4th birthday party saturday. He saw the 3D Spiderman bust cake and wanted it to be superman. The only wig head I could find was very feminine and had a face. I added some mmf to the chin to make it not so pointy, but he's still creepy! He reminds me of a young superman meets computer geek, LOL. Of course, all of the kids and everyone at the party loved it. I felt like the cake actually watched me wherever I went. ROFL! I can't get him to attach, but he's in my pics. Believe me...you'll want to take a look!
This is so FUNNY! I'm a newbie at cake decorating. So, at first I was feeling encouraged by all these worst cake pictures. Now, I think I'm going to have nightmares. I think, wow, if it could happen to them I know it could happen to me....YIKES!!!! lol These pictures are so funny though. The one of the blue girl in the thong was hillarious. My son was coloring an underwater diving adventure page today. He colored this little boy's wet suit red and his face and skin all blue. I just started laughing because all I could thing of was the csi thong cake. lol. What's worse is trying to explain to a 6 year old why your are laughing at his picture with not being able to really tell him why. lol 
this is just hilareous!! Can you imagine, we get a site with great bakers and decorators, and they throw in great storytellers/comedians for free!?! I love this place (a little too much)...

She was overcome with laughter at the hour of 12:49 pm MST
She was pronounced dead upon first burst of laughter.
Little hot dog pieces were found strewn around her body and on her computer monitor screen.
Yuki is survived by her confused BF Cory who always thought it would be a buss (I am a klutz), 3 crack addicted cats that could care less, and her parents who always thought she would go laughing.
Services will be held in the kitchen where we will retire her Cake pan.
Donations can be made to Cake central in the form of purchases.
We are sure she would want to thank them for making he last moments of life enjoyable.
ROFL. Hey at least csi girl died in a thong! ha ha! Wow the clown was a bit scary! OK A LOT SCARY! lol It was a great idea though. I think a hair fight is definately in order.

Actually, the thong cake was good, the color was just funny. Other than that it was pretty neat. But, the color just kills me....lol no pun intended.

The clown take the cake. It looks like it stuck it's nose in a light socket and that's why the hair is standing up.
