Tiffany Blue Theme
This was inspired by a photo the bride brought me from somewhere...After I got into the piping (lots of dots!), I realized it reminded me a pretty French wallpaper from a palace somewhere :) Loved how it turned out, and so did they. Bottom tier was a 15" dummy, the rest was 6, 9, 12".

Pinstripes And Blossoms
All IMBC with royal navy pinstripes done by HAND agh. Talk about not planning ahead for how much time this would take and how HARD it would be, but a ruler, a lot of holding my tongue right, and 2 hours later, I loved how it turned out. Painted gp hydrangeas to match her color.

Wilton Style Gold Anniversary
I 'got my Wilton on' and proved to myself I still know my way around a bunch of icing tips. Had lots of fun doing this retro 6 and 8" for a customer's parents' 50th, whose mom was a cake decorator way back when. She said the only rule was "you can't *over*decorate it; go ornate".

Eiffel Tower Anniversary
Imbc cake with royal icing scrollwork painted silver, royal icing eiffel tower made from a template out of ACD magazine awhile back. GP peonies painted dark purple. Super fun to make!! And I didn't break any of the pieces... :) which was a thrill in itself! Made to 'make up for' an apparent total botch of a prior Paris themed wedding cake from last year (not by me, ahem).

Peacock Wedding Cake
yummy layers of champagne cake filled with chocolate ganache and strawberry mousse; chocolate cake with PB mousse, and red velvet with cream cheese filling, BC and royal hand-piped hand-painted feathers. I had SO much fun painting this. Used real feathers for the color inspiration, and thank goodness, because she had real feathers on the table, and they matched so well that the kitchen staff thought the cake had real feathers on it--so that totally made my day. :) Used peacock blue, smoky violet, jade, super green, gold, old gold, and spanish moss luster dusts to blend my colors...fyi

Bucket Of Coronas
I'll say it. I LOVE this cake. Ordered the myom online and made the bottle mold, then did my first sugar bottles (loved them!), printed labels (not edible, but ah well), and my first sugar ice cubes (easy!), an 8 and 9" chocolate cake filled with cherries and Bettercream, and used 2 bottles of Duff's silver luster spray (loved that, too!), GP lime and bottle opener, brown sugar "sand", and voila! They loved it too! One of my favorite cakes I've ever done. Bar none.
