This cake made me nauseous! I was so stressed making this--still baking extra layers at 1 am. night before delivery, didn't start even icing it til 9:30 a.m. morning OF delivery. Finished at 2:30, delivered at 5:30. I actually felt like hurling last night when I knew how fast we'd have to work to finsh it, but I really like how it turned out. 6, 8, 10, 12 for a 16th b-day for 250 kids on a lake cruise boat...my biggest bday ever. GP wired details, IMBC and fondant accents, multiple flavors. Couldn't have done it without my 13 yo DD's help for the last hour rolling balls for the border and had to cart it down a long gangway! WHEW. We're still high-fiving each other, lol

This is a cake that my 10-year-old designed all by herself after viewing some CC cakes, and I made it for her! It's her own birthday, top and bottom are cake, middle is a dummy. We ate only 3/4 of the top...go figure...but the crowd at the family fun center where we had it, sured liked it. lol All homemade fondant, chocolate cakes.

All White, All Piped
A dummy I did for an event coming up, to go with some modern fondant designs. My own design, based on some dress patterns and other cakes I've liked. All crisco BC, which I HATE working with (always use IMBC), so I'm not that happy with any of the quality of the piping, but I wanted to see if I could do it. GP flowers. The whole thing from mixing icing to taking the photo took 3 hours, 5 minutes, so I'm getting faster.

Slightly Mad Hatter
My 13-y.o. daughter entirely designed this cake for her birthday, and I made it for her. It was supposed to be more tilted, but it was so small I didn't carve it as much as I thought I would, thus it just looks crooked, haha. 2, 4, 6" rounds with fondant and luster dust. All red velvet with pineapple curd filling.

Faberge Christmas Topiary
My take on a Colette's cake for our family gathering last night as a surprise. 8" squares 8-1/2" tall, lemon coconut cake w/lemon curd and coconut dacquoise; and chocolate with peanut butter mousse. Learned how fast I can work: didn't start decorating fondant covered cake until NOON, delivered at 3:30, with time color my hair and make the brussels sprouts! Left off some details on the baseboard, but the ride in a blizzard in the truck on my LAP would have been too hard on it anyway. Merry Christmas!

Last Second Wedding
I had 3 days notice to do this cake for a military couple who got last minute tickets to come home for a 25-guest wedding. 6, 10" white with raspberry, all IMBC, satin ribbon, fresh roses. I should've asked her how BIG the roses were before I told her I only needed 3 for the top! ouch. Didn't leave me much to work with; I've never seen such small buds.

Bohemian Wedding
Vanilla sponge cake brushed with rum syrup and filled with zabaglione, IMBC, fresh flowers, shipped unbaked to CA, then I flew down to finish it for my dear sweet cousin's wedding. I learned first hand what my cakes go through at a reception! Set up (outdoor tent) at 1:00 p.m., and they didn't cut it until AFTER 9 PM OMG. I kept waiting for it to melt and sag, but it was actually STILL COLD inside when I had a piece. And it was so good; all raved about it, especially the Italian inlaws! :

Simple Fall Flowers
My last "official" cake this year aside from my cousin next weekend. I had more things go wrong with this one than I've ever had, all throughout production, but it still turned out fine and no one knew it was a nightmare to put together. She loved it, and I got to chat with the bride for a bit when I set up, which I don't usually get to do, so that was nice. 6, 10, and 14 mixed shapes, chocolate with cheesecake flavor filling, vanilla caramel, and white with raspberry.

My Only Gp Flower Cake This Year
All IMBC, yellow cake with lemon cream cheese filling. GP flowers and top. It was so humid here that the top curlicues wilted (they were supposed to stand UP), so they looked like a loop bow thingee, but it turned out just like the pic she gave me, and it was one of my faves this year to do. Thanks for looking.

Purple, Gold And Green Wedding
I just delivered this, outside, in 83 degree heat, and it's supposed to sit for 4 more hours til they cut it. The florist did the flowers. All IMBC with royal icing celtic knot-type design and borders. Choc with PB filling, carrot with cream cheese, and red velvet with IMBC filling. I really like how it turned out.

Fern Wedding
A last minute cake I squeezed in on my busiest weekend for an existing customer whose son announced (on 8 days notice) that he was getting married at her house...They had a fern topper, but we didn't put it on because the kitchen table was still a disaster when I got there. We just threw a tablecloth over the mess and snapped the picture. I had fun doing this one, though. :)

Asian Theme Birthday Cake
A 9 x 13 x 4" lemon coconut cake with lemon curd and coconut dacquoise filling, sponge painted fondant with a new ruby red Wilton powder that I actually liked, got a new cheap but useful clay gun for the black trim that saved a ton of time. Hand painted script that is supposed to say 'Happy Birthday Amanda', but may say "Pass the salt" for all I know. I had a ball doing this for free for my daughter's best friend. Thanks for looking.
