Plunger Grooms Cake

This idea came from a pic that Martig did and I thank her for it! I made a small plunger cake and put it on top of a 14 inch choc cake iced in choc BC with a hint of mint. The plunger was choc cake covered in MMF and the handle was styrofoam covered in MMF too. It was very humid so the fondant was super soft. The toilet paper message was MMF too. I mixed red color with small amt of vodka to do the writing. Everyone loved the idea and the cake too. Thanks CC!

Yes everyone loved it. My son just looked at me and shook his head...The handle was MMF that I put over styrofoam.. I used Ivory to color the fondant before I placed it on the styrofoam. I took warm brown color mixed in vodka and painted it on the handle to give it a wood grain. Vodka is cheaper than doing lemon extract.
