This was the first wedding cake I made with a hand made bride and groom. (I haven't made many wedding cakes) Also the first cake i painted on. Groom wanted glasses on the groom doll, so i made them out of silver wire. Quite a fiddly task ; ) This was a caramel mudcake covered in fondant. The hearts were made out of flowerpaste.

nati, go to the craft shops, they sell "teddy bear" glasses...so you don't have to do them again. I don't know the size, but they usually have them at the "build a bear" stores

I actually made a little heart mould with foil so that i could mark out the top and bottom of each heart to keep the sizes similar. Otherwise painted freehand. First in pink and when dry i did the silver outline.
