Chocolate Images on Cake Central
This is my contribution to the I Guerrieri Collaboration to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. She is a portrait of a beautiful lady who just completed her third set of treatments for cancer. As of April of last year, she was pronounced cancer free. My sculpture is made of Rice Krispy Treats and modeling chocolate, fondant, gum paste, wafer paper, sugar pearls and edible colors.
Vegetable Garden Cake
This cake was for a retirement. It is carrot cake with a cream cheese buttercream. I made all embellishments with fondant except for the pebbles, which are chocolate from the bulk store.
Illenium Falcon With Lights
This was a lot of fun to make! To make The millennium falcon I used white chocolate and dusted with silver luster dust and hand painted details. I added an LED strip to the back lights. Not my original design but it sure was fun to make.
My Christmas cake for this years Christmas get together for my retired work friends.The lower tiers were chocolate and top tiers were vanilla bean. all were covered in a vanilla bean SMB and then covered with the fondant embellishments.
Elmo - Icing Smiles Cake
Elmo was made for the 10th birthday of a very special Icing Smiles child. It is lemon funfetti, filled and frosted with lemon buttercream, covered in white chocolate ganache (colored red) and fondant. The arms and legs are Rice Krispy Treats with modeling chocolate hands and feet, all covered with fondant. The large eyes and nose are made of styrofoam covered with fondant. Elmo's birthday cake is the same lemon cake as his body.

Candy Clay Hello Kitty Cake
My new favorite medium is candy clay. Basically white chocolate modeling paste, but made with candy melts. It's tasty too. This Hello Kitty cake was for a 3 year old little girl. She LOVED it.
This is a life size cake! This Jotul F602 model, is covered in modeling chocolate and weighed close to 100 lbs! The flames are pulled sugar and I added a soft flicker of light to bring it to life. I made this stove for a business celebrating 15 years in business.
Made of modeling chocolate with a wire armature and airbrushed to resemble bronze, Leonardo's Horse stands on a base covered in fondant and painted to look like marble. He is my contribution to the Leonardo Da Vinci Challenge on Bakerswood.
Country Music Birthday Cake For Stephen
This was made for a gentleman celebrating his 60th birthday, This was a very special day because Stephen has Down's Syndrome and it's rare for the sufferer enjoy a 60th birthday. He loves country music, especially Vince Gill. The order was sort of last minute, so I was fortunate to already have Dolly and Willie, whom I refurbished and added to the cake. The bottom tier is chocolate, filled and frosted with vanilla buttercream, finished with bark made from modeling chocolate. The top tier is strawberry, filled and frosted with vanilla buttercream, finished with white chocolate ganache. The figures are made from modeling chocolate with fondant and gum paste clothes. The Black Eyed Susans were made from Sugarin Flower Paste by Arati Mirji.
