It’s so funny cause I woke up yesterday, and thought, ahhh, just another day. Then I thought, holy crap, it’s my girlfriend Susan’s bday tomorrow, April 2nd. Then I went into high gear!! I honestly can’t believe I started making the cake in mid afternoon and finished the cake at 6 pm. Was pretty proud that I accomplished it. Then when I woke up this morning and realized I was two days early!!!!! Ha Ha. I re-did the front flower because I didn’t like the original. I certainly had the time when I realized delivery wasn’t today..
Very pretty, June! I know she will not be expecting a cake this year, so this will be a wonderful surprise and treat!

it was my attempt at a mini faultline cake. I just used whatever icing I had on hand. Honestly, my heart really wasn’t it because of some recent family circumstances. But it kept my mind and body busy. And off my tablet and watching tv. Which I’m sure were all doing too much of these days.
Christie, when you add something to a post, no matter how small, like a period or the word Bump, it moves the post to the top of the Forum page, ahead of all the spam so people can see it.
Don’t feel bad Christie. I use to be a Moderator of cake site, Cakes We Bake. That’s where I met Sandra. Anyway, the other two Moderators were typing “Bump” and I didn’t get it either!!!! Ha Ha. As Sandra explained, moves the list up and keeps post active. Unfortunately, like CC, cakeswebake.com has gone extinct like the dodo bird.
Right now I'm more happy that my stash of toilet paper in the pantry is still serving our needs. I have found myself doing things like, instead of using a whole Kleenex......... I tear it in half & only use half. Back to using more rags for cleaning & less disposable paper. Things change & pretty rapidly & we all are capable of learning to adapt. One can get frugal when necessary.

I sooo hate to bail but I guess it is time. I just feel bad for those who come here really looking for help... and for the loss of so much wonderful information. Just hope & pray I can get to a computer before I loose all the pix I posted on here & some of the other information-recipes etc to copy it onto a memory stick
