Back from my brother's (his dw was at work until late). I made angel food caked when I got there from a box. When it was done I tore it up and added sliced strawberries and coolwhip to it for dessert. After that I was done. Nasty kitchen everything was sticky and covered in dog hair. It's be different if it was just dirty dishes etc but with everything being sticky it was more than I could handle. Mom cooked burgers and fried potatoes.

Tonight we all had cereal or pbj sandwiches. No one wanted to cook.

It's an older Dr. recommended diet for kiddo's when the are sick. I don't really feed them it, they won't eat when they are sick. It's just a way for me to say my kids are sick and not eating a reg. diet.

Tonight DH made:
Penne Pasta w/meatballs and sauce.

Marksgirl -Isn't Chipotle's great! I resisted it for the longest time - wasn't what I had expected - but now love it. Think you can eat fairly healthy there, too - not that that is my priority.

morningglories - Thanks - I do think I heard of this many, many years ago.

Oh, and of course, with tonight's dinner, a glass of red.

Next week, I'm going to be baking the wedding cake, right? Yeah, well, it's a CHAMPAGNE cake, with bavarian mousse, and a Kahlua white with Strawberry.

So...I've GOT to go to the liquor store. icon_twisted.gif

Don't y'all KNOW I'm gonna HAVE to have a glass of that champagne a couple of those nights? icon_twisted.gifthumbs_up.gif

"A glass of red," she says... icon_cry.giftapedshut.gif Must be nice...
