Sweet, you didn't bring down the room, people just don't know what to say.....I lost my first three babies, I know how you feel. You don't want to forget. After the third they told me to stop trying to have kids...couldn't do that....now I have two teenagers! ARGGGGGG!!!!!

I am like that also, BTW, I buy things because I think I might need them or they look cool and have no idea what to use them for. IE I have white-white coloring (not sure why I need to make white icing white?) and fondant stuff I bought tons of then have yet to make another fondant cake!! Maybe it's cause the smell put me off. icon_smile.gif Melting barbie dolls, and all that! Or like that pool smell when you buy another blow-up pool. mmmmmmm

I'm the same way...have tons of brand new cake stuff! I use the white white when I use real butter and it turns the icing kind of yellow....then I found out on CC that if you put a little bit of violet it will turn white. Things you learn on here!! Love this place! icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes, that's true nglez09, but we have talked cakes, icings, cake pans, sales at Joanns on WILTON products, buying stuff we don't need, etc.

Okay, back to the topic at hand. Wilton fondant, has anyone ever tried to flavor it? My instructor said that you COULD flavor it, but never showed us or told us how. Could that make it taste better?? Then we could have a thread that says that Wilton fondant is decent!! icon_razz.gif

Yeah, mine said that too, then proceeded to use some oil flavor in it--- said the amount of your thumbprint in the fondant was the right amount.....GAAAAAKKKKKKKKK it was awful. I can't help you here. She said just take the ball, put your thumb in it and fill it with flavoring...then knead like you would with color.

Something interesting I found out when watching 4 back-2-back episodes of Ace last night (I SAID I am a sad, sad, excuse of a woman. ha) was if you use gel color on modeling chocolate that it disolves the chocolate? He used powdered color? Just wondered if that wonderful nummy choco fondant I ask samples of would be the same?

Most embrassing soundtrack.... I don't have one that I'd consider embrassing...

Also back to Wilton...
I would think it would take lots of notaste red to get that red, red... And 10c to boot!!!!
And btw the Home Improvment neighbor was Wilson not Wilton so we can like his fondant!!! icon_lol.gif

I don't even own a soundtrack, that i remember anyways.....most embarrassing ALBUM (for you youngins, that the round, flat, black thing with the hole in the middle, that you put a little needle on to hear the music) is (yes, I still own it) The Osmonds - Crazy Horses.

Ok, I have the Main Event soundtrack on a 45!! I remember when the cool thing to do was go to the record store to buy the latest single on wax! icon_smile.gif I saved my Sesame Street and Disney records all these years for my children to have and now I have nothing to play them on..... sad but true. I once loved Lief Garrett.....
