Yeah, my daughter suffers, too. As does my cakes. 
Actually, I play with my daughter tons, and am trying to teach her to entertain herself.
I am getting ready to go over my DD house to see my GS (20 months). He had sugery on his eye yesterday. His tear duck were blocked. She didn't have it done when he was younger because they would have done it while he was awake. Now that he's older they gave him gas, so he didn't feel a thing.
Last week when they were over for dinner we were all fixing out plates and DD was fixing his. It was so funny he got his Backyardigans bowl off his high chair and held it up in the air. Like that movie that I can't think of the name. Oh, oh, I remember now Oliver Twist. I guess he wanted to make sure he ate.
I really like Wilton's pre-made gumpaste. I always use my coupon so it's worth it.
I won't go into the whole story but on JJ there was a woman sueing her daughter and one of the things on her list was that her daughter took toilet paper from her house. These people are crazy that's why I love the show.
I'm still working on flowers.
Did you guys notice how much lower CC's prices are for their color and dust compared to other web-sites. I would buy from them anyway to support the site but it really nice we have such a good price. Really, when I think about it all their prices are better.
I know I will be thinking of this site the rest of the evening. I have to sneak up to the computer on weekends. DH is such a baby, he thinks I should spend time with him. I wonder if there is a Hockey Game on this weekend. If there is I have a good 3 hrs. Detroit Redwings are in the playoffs. later

I'm free every day there is football or football shows on TV.
Hubby is a HUGE football addict. Just as I am addicted to CC.
He could care less about me during football season. I like it that way.
It gives me 16 weeks of "Me" time.

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly...but I don't know why she swallowed the fly, perhaps she'll die... 
I'm not going anywhere. I may check less now that my husband is home and eventually I will head to Home Depot for a bit, but I'll be here for a long time. I want to get this cake done TODAY! So, come say hi to me people. You see, its a great thing that I don't work, but other people do, so they leave me all alone... Well, except those that write at home and school.

to take her during the party because FIL#2 will be out of town. 
FIL #1 isn't invited. He is a great man, I love him to death and felt immediately accepted by him when Xaq introduced me to his dad. 
I've never worked with gumpaste. I'd like to, but I think I will take the classes at the cake shop. There's also a discount cooking store/school down here (Great News) and I'm waiting for their class to have an opening. They're booked until the end of June right now.
I'm on page 45 trying to catch up....hopefully I'll be there soon!!
I've been lurking since this thread started and I have to say I've been very entertained. I just found this site recently and it has inspired me. I've only done 1 cupcake cake and 1 fondant cake. I'm totally addicted!! My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I can't help it! Keep it up...I love reading this. I will say that Wilton fondant does suck. I bought it and then read how bad it was here. So I went and bought Satin Ice (loved it) I just opened the wilton to see if it smelled as bad...it does I'm sure I'll be back later to join in the fun

I've never tried working with gumpaste either (good thing I don't teach that class!!), I keep thinking that I want to TAKE the class, but I don't want to take it from the person who I took all of the other courses from. I might go to another Michaels and take it there!! Is that bad or what??
I think I'll take a drive down to So Cal the weekend around by b-day.....all this talk about Disney and Knotts, I think I'll pick Knotts for my b-day dinner!! Hubby is gonna kill me!

Cathy I am going to try and undo some of your injustices! I don't know how it is that I haven't commented on your cakes yet! But I will right NOW!! Every so often I like to sit and just go through all of one persons pics. It is fun to see cakes by the same person on a lot of themes!

I think that I'm adaquate, that's why I only teach Wiltons Course 1. I never have the confidence that I'm actually GOOD!! But it's good to hear every once and awhile!! I had one student last month that was a natural! I couldn't believe how good she was!
There are so many great and talented people here on CC. I can't wait to get half as good as everyone here!!!

Hi! Anyone left on here? I asked for free samples...of fondant, I'll take free samples of lipo, too. I really can't wait to try another fondant cake...I haven't done one since class and that was really not planned out. If you saw the pic you would laugh then cry then shake your heads!
I can't believe you guys get so much done, clean house and keep up here. Ha. My laundry keeps going off balance and it's driving me crazy! Why does the washer wait until I start back up the stairs to go off balance?
It was me who posted about my daughter, and I didn't mean to bring the room down...I heard crickets chirping after I wrote that and felt bad about saying it. It's just what brought me to cake decorating. I had previously wanted to do the classes but my mom kinda made me go. I am happy she did, my husbands wallet isn't but too bad for him. I didn't mean to make anyone uncomfortable, though. I just don't like to say that I am mother to one because that leaves my little girl out and then it gets weird explaining.
