I'm glad I'm still here too. My kids were in 4th and 2nd grade at the time (can't remember their ages). My DS#1 used to sit on my bed with me and just put his hand on my bald head....I'll remember that forever. I wanted to see them grow up, graduate, give me grand DAUGHTERS .....

Now, I'm going to kill DS #2 and tell him he can't have guitar lessons. My dad just called me, told me he's not graduating the 8th grade. Bad grades.....

I'm so upset over this.....what do my kids think? That they are just so cute that the teachers will pass them??

Wow, work can be demanding....I started this response 1 1/2 hours ago.....going to put it up anyways!!

Knotts chicken dinner is OUTSIDE the park...The best you'll ever have (IMO)! Have some for me!!

I've driven down to Knotts just to have dinner and drive home after (it's about a 5 hour drive)...Yes, I'm crazy!

"I always said Barney is a cult leader "

OMG, Janette, we are sooo in agreement on that one.
I actually told my moms group I could not particiate in the next playdate because Barney will be there and the little creep is banned in our house, LOL! They know he seriously freaks me out, LOL...

Cathy, congratulatons on beating cancer - so wonderful and big hugs to you.

roxxxy_chic22,

No you don't have to go in. It's outside the park.

Not sure what it's called but you can't miss it. Just follow your nose.

Roxxxy -

I would love to go to Disneyland for my birthday....but kids are still in school then. Knotts is about 30 - 45 min away...maybe less. I never drive. Loops may know....

Happy Birthday to Hubby!!

I personally would love to live at Disneyland. Everything in our house is D-Land related (okay, almost everything). Can't get enough of the mouse and Tigger!!

Loops, son has 2 f's right now. Graduation is on June 12th. I put him in tutoring club about 2 months ago. Now I don't know if it's helping or not. He doesn't talk to me anymore. I don't know if that little brat kid is still picking on my precous (sp?) little angel. LOL Some kid has been calling him names since the beginning of the year. I told Bri to get used to it cause it happens. A couple of months ago the kid started hitting my son, went to the principal, talked, principal talked to the kid, later that same day, kid grabbed my son, hit him and told him that if he told anyone that he would slit his throat. Went BACK to principal told him that SOMETHING had to be done. Principal called both boys in, talked to both.... Son said that the kid hasn't talked to him since, but I wonder......

oh yeah, Wilton fondant...I may have to push it teaching, but I don't have to use it!!

People will read the thread and lurk, maybe join us. Or, they will look at it and think "nuts" and move on.

icon_cry.gif It's taking me so long to get my flowers done. I don't want to!

Are we losing people? Where's juliequeen, luxe42, marthaj01 and others?

Don't just lurk, join us.

Cathy, you touched my heart, I'm so glad you are here.

I can't remember who it was, it was pages ago, but they lost their infant son. I wanted to say something but didn't know the right words. I can only say my heart aches for you. If you are ever feeling down, I hope we are still here to cheer you up.

ladyofcake, I find Barney a little to creepy too.

I only have one cake to do, how do people that bake at home do two or more for a weekend? It's hard work, if we could only get that message to the people that don't want to pay for what they are worth. icon_confused.gif

My very good friend just lost his daughter. She was three, and had been sick since birth. Things had been wrong with her veins, heart, and lungs. She just recieved a double lung transplant, and it went well. I believe she died on the 9th, she was three.
My friend lost her baby a month before that, miscarriage. He wrapped the cord around his neck real tight. His name was Issac.
