Well, even though I was up 'till 10 pm last night I still fit in some exercise before bed.
Side Leg Lifts L/R  30  reps
Crunches  30  reps
Tummy Squeezes  30  reps
Combo Hinge Crunch  30  reps
Bicycle Crunches  30  reps
Leg Lift/Extension  30  reps

I then started today with 100 standing tummy tucks.
I am going to try to do standing tummy tucks everyday since I can do them in the bathroom before I take a shower, or I can do them in the shower.

Well, tonight might be my rest night, I have a 3 tier cake that I have to put together and decorate for a retirement party at my husband's work and I then have to deliver it tomorrow before work.
TTYL everyone!

Good luck with the doctor, Michelle. Be sure to let us know what you find out!

I'm enjoying the boot camp, though it frustrates me that I can't go every day. My husband's travel schedule has been crazy (as usual) and it's so hit or miss when I can make the camp. Any day that I go is obviously good for me but I'm imagining what results I could be seeing if I went five days a week. So far I'm only down a couple of pounds but I'm noticing an increase in strength. The first week of camp was tough, this is now the third week and she keeps on cranking it up (I swear I almost threw up the other day and my legs were shaking so much I could hardly walk.) I'm working out at this camp harder than I have ever pushed myself and I'm still the one in the group she keeps coming over to correct or push harder. Some of these women have done the camp before so they know what they're doing but I'm definitely in the trailing part of the group. Again, I feel like I'd be doing so much better if I could do the full 4 weeks, 5 days each week. Last week I only got to go one day so I missed so much. And now that week 3 is here, I'm trying to jump in and do some of this stuff when I haven't built up to it. Oh well. I give myself a ton of credit for getting up at 4:40 a.m. to go and that I'm not running for the car and driving off halfway through it!

One thing I noticed the last few times, too, is that when I'm done and once I get home (I guess after my body gets a chance to try and cool down) I get the chills for a couple of hours. My hubby claims that's not unusual (he's the eternal athlete with all the advice) but I swear I've never heard of that happening. I guess I've never really pushed myself before.

The best thing this camp is doing for me is showing me that I can push myself a lot harder and I should be getting so much more out of my workouts.

m0use - I'm sad to say that with my hubby's travel schedule, I'm not even able to make up with nookie the missed workouts! And I guess phone nookie doesn't burn up any calories so I'm out of luck there, too!

Carol you are my hero! I will remember you when I am doing my sad little 30 mins of treadmill. I will no longer complain about the little that I do, and will start to push my self harder. I have actually started to push a bit harder, I have put the treadmill at an incline and not changed the speed. I usually either do a bit faster, or do an incline, this week I have done both.

I had a Dr. apt for my hand today. I dont know if you remember I had wrist problems back in Sept/Oct. It has returned and went back to the Doc today, since I now have a little bump in there the shots will no longer give long term relief. I am scheduled to have surgery on my wrist on May 31. Had to wait until then since my show season is now upon me.

By the way, I start traveling next month again so will be in and out. I am going to try to use my salesmens computers to get on and get my here you all.

ckkerber - glad to hear your boot camp is going well, even if you can't get there all the time. Maybe you will just have to take charge and demand some nookie when he is home... icon_wink.gif
Here's my exercise log from yesterday:
Standing Tummy Tucks  100  reps
Side Leg Lifts L/R  30  reps
Crunches  30  reps
Tummy Squeezes  30  reps
Combo Hinge Crunch  30  reps
Bicycle Crunches  30  reps
Leg Lift/Extension  30  reps
Washing Machine  30  reps

I started the day today again with standing tummy tucks- even though it was very early in the morning when I did it. Everyone at my husband's work loved the cake. I will post pictures soon.

Good morning all

I did not get up and work out. We went out for dinner and I ate way too much so my tummy didn't feel right, stayed in bed.

Hope everyone is doing well

That doesn't seem to be a problem. icon_lol.gif I just wish I could add that to my list of daily exercises, perhaps even workout more than once a day! But with his travel schedule, it's one of those sporadic things.

Well, I went to bed without any extra exercising...I was tired from the long day.
I still had done my standard 100 tummy tucks in the morning yesterday, so it wasn't like I did nothing at all.
I started my day out again with 100 tummy tucks. Hubby said I can go to Bally's tonight if I want to. So I'm going to jump at the chance. I'm so glad my hubby is done with school now, I can do things in the evening if I want to and hubby can help my son with his homework.

I got my lab results late yesterday afternoon, my A1C came back at 6.2 which is very good. I am still med free! He wants to see me in 3 months again to make sure everything is still the same.

I am doing the happy dance here! icon_lol.gif

Glad to hear your numbers are good!
I went to Bally's like I said I was going to! thumbs_up.gif
I did 10 minutes on the elliptical machine, 30 reps on the inner press thigh machine, and then did 30 reps on the abdominal press machine. Then did a cool down and went home. Ran into someone at the gym that I hadn't seen a long time, barely recognized him he had grown so much. But he said he would hook me up with some free tai kwan do lessons if I wanted to.
I also made plans to work out with my new workout buddy. So Monday I'm meeting her at Bally's to work out again. icon_biggrin.gif

My hubby is going to start exercising more now too. I'm so happy for him. Saturday was a good eating day for us, we didn't go out to eat at all. And Saturday night we had salad for dinner with imitation crab meat on it. My son ate all of his salad up, he did a really good job. I'm so glad our son likes to eat salads. Now if I could only get him to get tomatoes on his salad. icon_rolleyes.gif It was so funny on Sunday, for dinner we had pizza and salad and my son actually asked for more salad on his plate because he said "I need to get more veggies in me mom" icon_lol.gificon_cool.gif I had no problem giving him more lettuce on his plate.
I started my day with 100 standing tummy tucks again. Tonight I'm going to Bally's Total Fitness to work out again, even if my workout buddy cancels on me.

m0use you are doing so well, good for you.

If only I could get DBF to eat better and work out more.

I was up and worked out this morning. Getting my eating habits back to where they were a month or so ago. That is the hardest part. It is so easy to eat, I love food!!!!!!

Way to go everyone, lets keep up the good work.

Thanks Tina and m0use I am so proud of me that I was able to keep those numbers down and actually lower them. I am now on the quest to lower my BP. I have given myself this next three months to get it down, if it remains elevated I will go on meds at my next appointment. Enough messing around it has been since Dec or longer since it has been high.

Thanks Karate! I have several reasons for loosing this weight, I wanna look skinny again, my hips hurt less without all this weight, and I can get on the back of hubby's sportbike easier now. Exercising again is two part, vanity and health reasons.
Hubby and I are going to go and work out together tomorrow night. I'm so happy, we haven't gone to Bally's together in a long time.
Well, after my final accupuncture appt I went and picked up my friend and we first went to the mall to eat and do some shopping. Then we went over to Bally's and worked out. After we were done she wanted to go get ice cream, I told her no. (Someone had to be the voice of reason here.)
Here's my exercise log entry for yesterday:
Standing Tummy Tucks  100  reps
Shopping  1  hr
Elliptical Machine  15  min
Walking-Treadmill  10  min
Inner Thigh Press  30  reps
Outer Thigh Press  30  reps
Crunches  30  reps

Not sure, my accupuncturist and I decided that if I need a touch-up that I should just call and schedule an appointment. She's pretty good and they rarely hurt going in for me. Except last night she stuck them into a different part of my ear that was straight cartilege, it HURT! She kept apologizing at least as she was stickn me. icon_lol.gif
Her prices are going up by $10 in May, but she's been doing Accupuncture for 10 years, so I'm sure she has a right to give herself a raise. I have always felt comfortable with her and she listened to my concerns and has always written them down in my medical file.

Hey Ladies~
Just wanted to update ya'll on my back & neck problemo's... I went to the chiropractor on Fri. First time ever! He fixed me up good!! My neck is feeling a lot better & isn't stiff since he alligned me! My back is still sore, he says it's muscles not my back so that's good news, I guess! I might be looking at neck surgery down the road IF the chiropractor can't fix me all the way. I have major problems. One of my vertibra is actually broken (chipped) & pushing against the one above it. I might have to have surgery to fix that. Hopefully not! Since he alligned me up I'm feeling much better. No shooting pain down my shoulders & I can actually turn my neck pretty far both sides icon_smile.gif Anyway... no exercise for me for awhile. I did walk a little 2 times this week but nothing to brag about. I'm just happy to be able to sit! LOL~ Anyway... I'm maintaining~ I'll TTYL~ Have a great day~

I drive 30 minutes easy to go see him, but he's worth it because I always get relief when he's done working on me. Besides I've been seeing him since I was 11 years old so I trust him.

Yep, I can drive the bus. I'm better. Now last weekend I could bearly do anything but I'm good now. m0use.. I did get instant relief to! I couldn't believe it! I've had this thumping in my left ear for a long, long time... right after he popped my neck the thumping went away! Cool! Dr. said it could have been that being out of line was hitting a nerve. Why do we wait so long to go get help??? I've gotta start taking better care of myself! I go back tomorrow! Can't wait! Then I'm going to my doc about my migraines again. I've had 3 today! I am convienced that they are hormonal! It's that time of month.. today is the worst day. I knew they'd hit today. My Fam Dr wants to put me on birth control. If it will stop them then I'm all for it! I can't stand another day of migraines! I just want to put my head through a concret wall! Today I could have done it! I hate that helpless feeling that migraines give me. Even with my meds that I take to prevent them, even with my nasal spray to stop them when I start to have them I still have them! icon_sad.gif I have felt totally helpless today. I worry all the time that I'll get one at the worst moment (when is a good moment! huh?). Ok... I've gotten that off my chest! I just had a good cry earlier along w/ a chocolate frosty! I guess I'll go to bed now~ No FD training for me tonight.

Wow Tina, so glad you are doing better!!!

I have reservations about anyone cracking my neck, any other part of my back fine, but my neck....um stay away. If it does it on its own, then great.

I got up and worked out this morning, against my wishes (soooo wanted to stay in bed) but got up and did it anyway!

Not much more happening, I have been so busy at work havent been able to brouse thru the gallery or the other forums. But make sure that I get here first thing in the morning!!!

Well, I was going to go for a walk yesterday and it didn't happen icon_sad.gif But I still did my crunchers and stuff.
I woke up this morning and noticed that I had lost some inches around my back- I was very happy to see that. I can poke my ribcage now and I don't feel squishy. icon_lol.gif
Here was my exercise for yesterday:
Standing Tummy Tucks  100  reps
Side Leg Lifts L/R  40  reps
Crunches  40  reps
Tummy Squeezes  40  reps
Combo Hinge Crunch  40  reps
Bicycle Crunches  40  reps
Leg Lift/Extension  40  reps

Hubby and I are going to Bally's to work out together...that will be nice, we haven't worked out together like that for at least a year if not more.
Tina you should see an accupuncturist for your migraines. My knees and ankles used to ache all the time with the weather changes, but not anymore not that I've done the accupuncture. It's been great not aching when I go to bed at night.

I remembe you talking about acupuncture m0use & it never dawned on me to go to one. Thinks for opening my eyes! I would rather go to an acupuncture then be on all the darn meds I'm on for these migraines. I'm sooo sick of meds!! I feel like that's all I do is take meds.

The chiropractors visit was good. It feel awesome to have my neck popped! I get all the PT first then the popping so I'm alllll relaxed by that time icon_smile.gif

Went to my fam doc. He gave me some samples of another med to stop the migraines when I have them. It's for hormonal migraines. Another med! He also is doing blood work to see my hormone levels. Then go from there. We shall see. Anything has got to be better then the way I feel now!

Glad ya'll are doing good!!

Went to Bally's last night and worked out again.
Here's what I did yesterday:
Standing Tummy Tucks  100  reps
Elliptical Machine  15  min
Walking-Treadmill  15  min
Inner Thigh Press  30  reps
Outer Thigh Press  30  reps
Leg Extension  30  reps
Lateral Press  18  reps
Crunches  40  reps
Tummy Squeezes  40  reps
Combo Hinge Crunch  40  reps
Bicycle Crunches  40  reps

We enrolled our son in Tae Kwon Do last night. I'm so sad about his behavior that he had yesterday in school. His teacher put him in an area on his own to work and he still couldn't focus and he ended up throwing his pencil and hitting a kid in class. icon_sad.gif I told him that he needs to learn how to focus and because of this we are enrolling in him in some classes.

Tina I am so sorry you are feeling like crap. I used to have them when I was a child and am so glad that I grew out of them! Try the acupuncturist, it cant hurt and may even help!
