I absolutely hate care buying! I will barter though... usually getting what I want but it's a fight the whole time. Good luck! Go somewhere else~ icon_smile.gif

I need to move to AZ!! I love the color yellow but this pollen is getting bad! I wish it would come a big rain to get rid of it all.

I've not worked out this week but at 5:30 am every day this week I've done arm weights for 30 min! Not bad! I've got to tone up these arms! DH goes on day shift next week so we plan on going to the gym every day after work. It's easier when I have someone to go with me. I don't know why but I will go! icon_smile.gif

Ya'll have a great day~

The last time we went car shopping my husband and I went together and I let him do all the talking and whenever the salesman asked me what I thought I would say my opinion but still direct it so that they new my husband made the final decision. We did that with a used car salesman and you could tell it irked the heck out of him since he couldn't divide us.
Did some exercises again last night- I was so happy to see some more results from it this am as in inches lost.
Crunches 20 reps
Tummy Squeezes 20 reps
Combo Hinge Crunch 20 reps
Bicycle Crunches 20 reps
Leg/Lift Extensions 20 reps

Well, I signed up for Booty Camp! I went to get my informational packet today and to have my measurements taken. I'm a bit scared because it will be pretty intense and I just hope I can keep up but I'm also excited because this is an insanely huge kick in the pants and I need that right now. It starts next week - i'm doing the 3 days a week and with my hubby's travel schedule, I probably won't get to start until Wednesday but I'll keep you all posted if I can drag my tired body to the computer!

I lost 4/10ths of a pound in a week! thumbs_up.gif
I did some walking on Saturday, some more stomach exercises and some leg exercies. I've done a lot of exercising this week, but today I payed for it, I took an almost 4 hour nap and came down with a small fever. icon_cry.gif
/Sigh I just can't win sometimes. But I need to loose this weight, so I just gotta find some type of balance.

Thank you so much Carol and TC!! icon_biggrin.gif I'm sorry to post so late, but I haven't had a chance to be on CC lately. icon_cry.gif

I hit a stand still last week and didn't lose any, I hate when that happens!! I weigh myself once a week on Mondays so I hope tomorrow shows a loss!! It's just kind of a bummer when you watch what you eat all week and exercise hard and not anything comes off! icon_sad.gif I started light weight training so hopefully that will get me over the stand still.

Everyone keep up the great work!! I know it's hard, but it's worth it in the end!!! thumbs_up.gif

Hey Denise,
Remember that muscle weighs more then fat so you might not lose & you could gain. So don't get frustrated if you didn't lose. You are lifting weights so you're toning your body, which is awesome!!

Ya'll need to give me a attitude adjustment!!!! I have really been bad this week!!! I took feeling bad to a new point! Between my DD, DS, & DS's girlfriend & MYSELF I think I had a frosty 6 times last week!!!!!!!! NO MORE!!!!! I am making a promise to ya'll & myself that I can only have a frosty on Fridays.... IF that! I am not going to let icecream ruin all my hard work. I can't!! So starting right now I promise!! DH is on day shift for a week so we are going to the gym in the afternoon every day! I'm gonna get back into my workout routine!! I have to!

Losing weight is easy it's keeping it off that's hard BUT we can do it!! Stay focused everyone!!

In high school i was 180ish and of course i though i was sooooo fat! HA then i gained 50 lbs being pregnant! I am not saying i am fat, no, I am just not as healthy as I could be...and not as happy as i could be!

So I am here trying to look for some support!
Theses are some of my week points!

Diet Coke is my "crack"
Fast Food is sooo good and
I cannot find a good workout program that i can do in my apt! (it is tooo spendy for a college mom to get a club membership)

You've come to the right place. thumbs_up.gif
You can dance to music with your little one while she sits in walker or johnny jump up.
Now that it is warm out, time to start walking and pushing the little one in the stroller.
Do some pilates movements.
Saturday night I did some leg circles while laying on my side, I did it forwards and backwards, it did wonders on my thighs and butt.

Friday= rest day
Saturday = Crunches  20  reps
Tummy Squeezes  20  reps
Combo Hinge Crunch  20  reps
Bicycle Crunches  20  reps
Leg Lift/Extension  20  reps
Leg Circles- Left/Right Fwd  10  reps
Leg Circles- Left/Right Rvs  10  reps
Sunday = rest day (if you don't count the good nookie I had icon_wink.gif )

Hi everyone

OK we finally bought a new truck. I just love it!

I weighed in and have stayed the same this week, which I am very thankful.

Lilly, welcome. youve come the right place. my "crack" is Diet Dr Pepper! I just had to laugh at that!

Tina NO MORE FROSTYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope things are better and calmed down so you dont feel the need to drown in frostys!

Carol, Like Tina said...muscle weighs more than fat, so not only watch the numbers, watch your clothes. That is what I notice more than the number, my clothes are looser.

m0use, hope things get better soon.. Hasn't it been awhile since your last fever? Perhaps the acupuncture is helping.

I got up and worked out this morning. skipped breakfast (before you all yell at me) I got to work and started in and forgot to eat. YES I said I forgot to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that is bad, and was not intentional!!!

happy loosing everyone, will post again tomorrow.

Change to bottled water and get the flavor packets to put inside of them if you need. Change to tea sweetened with Splenda if that's your thing. If you HAVE to get fast food, just get the sandwich and kill the fries.

I'm gonna do good Michelle!! I promise!! I'm eating a little cream cheese right now... I just love dairy!! But no more Frosty's!!

My weight loss support group had some info on sweetened drinks (water, soda). To only drink one splenda or any artificially sweetened drink a day because it will slow your motabilism down. icon_sad.gif This info came from my doc's office. I'd stick to water when trying to lose weight. I love green tea but I only drink one a day. If that info is true I sure don't want my motabilism slowing down.. it's already slowed down by all those frosty's I had icon_rolleyes.gif

Well, I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is. I lost a few more pounds. Last night, my hubby said he could tell I was losing a little. I put my scrubs on today to go to work. This particular set was always kind of tight in the thighs. Well, I had noticeably more room. I was happy about that. It's hard when you have so far to go, but it helps when you start noticing tiny changes with yourself. Take care everyone.

The "clothes are loose" milestones are my FAVORITE. Scales schmales, I couldn't walk around with a number pasted to my forehead, but people can tell if your clothes are getting baggy. Congrats!

Liz - Welcome! Congrats on starting your journey. This is an awesomely supportive group. I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you were fat in high school and looking back now and kicking yourself. I have always thought I was fat and looking back, I was perfect in high school and it seems such a sad, sad shame to not have realized it at the time and to have wasted those years under a cloud of self consciousness. But, if I ever get back to that weight now, I'll TOTALLY appreciate it because I now value it.

Cassandra - Congrats on the loose pants! That's awesome. And in the THIGHS no less . . . that's one of the harder places for me to lose anything. Keep going! You're an inspiration!

Yes, it's been awhile since I had a fever. I won't be seeing an accupuncturist this week, we decided to try to go 2 weeks apart between visits. As long as I take my supplements I do ok between visits.
Last night I exercised again! I was watching dancing with the stars last night, so that got me dancing in between commercials for the fun of it.
Dancing  30  minutes
Crunches  30  reps
Tummy Squeezes  30  reps
Combo Hinge Crunch  30  reps
Bicycle Crunches  30  reps
Leg Lift/Extension  30  reps
Leg Circles- Left/Right Fwd  10  reps
Leg Circles- Left/Right Rvs  10  reps
I weighed myself this morning and I was 146.8 lbs! thumbs_up.gif Yippee for me! I wore a new outfit today that I had purchased last week, I knew I would feel more comfortable in it if I lost a few more pounds, and I did it!
My treat this week for my weight loss is to get my ears pierced with second holes, but this time at a piercing place in our area called Avant Garde that uses surgical stainless steel. (They do all kinds of piercings.) I can't go to those piercing places in the mall, I'm allergic to the earrings they use.

When I reached my goal I got my belly button pierced. Felt like a dingbat being in a tattoo parlor (I was certainly out of my normal comfort zone lol), but I love my belly ring.

It's the little things that you notice that make you proud of yourself & that's when you say WOW I look good!! icon_smile.gif I know the 1st time I crossed my legs without deep breathing & panting I was so shocked! I couldn't cross my legs at my heavier weight. Now it's easy LOL~

Something that never happened to me happened last night... My DS who drives me totally crazy.. always picking on me & everyone else around was sitting in MY chair. I told him to get up, I wanted my chair. Well he jumped up, picked me up & plopped me down in his lap! icon_smile.gif As long as I can remember I have NEVER been picked up like that!!!! (My brain still thinks the same as it did when I was 253 lbs.) I was totally shocked that I could be picked up! Then DS wouldn't let me go.. I got mad! icon_mad.gif He tends to have that effect on me. Instead of letting me go he picked me up again (like when I groom carries the bride over the threshold, that was a 1st too! When I got married my DH weighed 138 & I weighed 175.). That was a good feeling!! I can actually be picked up by someone!! It might be silly to some but very awesome to me! icon_wink.gif I had to share that story with ya'll. thumbs_up.gif

mouse - you're so good at doing your exercises. Congrats on the new outfit and being a hottie in it! I still haven't caught up on all the posts I missed here so I've been reading you talk about your health but missed the part that explained what's wrong. Could you fill me in? I hope you're back to your old self soon (though the old self in the new outfit!)

TC - Way to go! That's awesome! You seem to be getting a lot of reminders lately about how little you are. It's time to turn your brain on and absorb it! YOU'RE THIN! That's right, I said THIN!!! ENJOY!

ckkerber- I was diagnosed with Chronic Mono, which causes me to be very tired on some days and have a low grade fever. Sometimes I am just wiped out and sleep most of the day.
Tina- you just are going to have to start to think "I AM THIN" no more "I'm fat" thoughts. But that's really cool to hear that you can be picked up now with out any troubles.

Well, I remember when I had lost 90 pounds before, and I was laying on the couch and felt this lump in my side. I was terrified, wondering why something bad would happen to me now that I was thin. Well, I felt on the other side and there was one on that side too. It took me a minute to realize it was my hipbone. I had never felt them before!! I laughed so hard that I cried. Then I called everyone and told them that I had hipbones. I can't wait to feel them again.

Exactly Cassandra! Exactly!! The first time I felt my butt bone I screamed in pain! I jumped into my van & hit it hard on the seat! Talk about hurt!!! I have to be careful now.

It's very hard to think thin when I have been overweight all my life. I'm trying ya'll I promise! icon_smile.gifBeing overweight held me back from doing a lot of things. I didn't realize it did till I lost this weight & still thought fat. Hopefully by doing the things that I never would before will help me. Tonight at the FD training I'm going to do a "1st" I'll tell ya'll about it tomorrow!!

Thanks ckkerber & m0use!! m0use... Feel better soon!!!!

Tina- are you going to slide down the firehouse pole? That would be fun to do! (I think anyways. icon_wink.gif )
Well, today I started taking my liquid chlorophyll again, main has that kept my energy up. I bought the liquid kind that is mint flavored- definetely not the best flavor in teh world, but if it works for me I can get past any type of flavor.
My accupunturist said I should take it to help with my energy levels, she was right. But when I run out of the liquid I am getting the pill form, doesn't stain as bad. The liquid kind is a deep dark green, not fun to get on your countertop.

mouse - when you say chronic does that mean you'll always be battling it or does it mean that it will just take longer to get over it? I'm sorry you're going through that. It's got to be tough to get through the day sometimes! I hope you're back to your healthy self soon!

Chronic as in constantly re-occuring. I'm hoping that by taking the herbal supplements and with the accupuncture I will get rid of it. But if not, at least the stuff is able to make my life more liveable.
