Silly Jeans Cake
Ok this was a request from a customer, I guess its a silly game they play where they swipe credit cards down each other's butts. Whatever. haha. It was from a few weeks ago, I figured I'd upload it!
Seuss Cake Per Brea1026
Got to do brea's awesome Seuss cake for a customer...thanks brea1026!!!! I totally loved doing this cake, since I am a total Seuss fan.
This for a wedding..they had s'mores wedding favors. Its a rich chocolate cake torted with whipped white and dark chocolate ganaches, and a meringue marshmallow icing, toasted with a torch. The humidity got the best of the meringue and it really gave me problems...the cake was a beast to try to stack and make it look even. I wanted this to be perfect, since it was a posh, expensive, famous venue but I did my best. It will taste divine at least!
Mack Truck Toy
Mom wanted (I assume) her son's favorite toy? to be replicated. I just realized "Mack" is supposed to go all the way across the front grille. Oh well! haha. I really despise doing vehicle cakes. Hope she likes this one. Delivering bright and early before church tomorrow!
I hate doing fondant over buttercream. haha. Its so hard to get perfectly neat! Oh well!
Cake order done for a customer who is having a Backyardigans Luau party. I sort of came up with the design after she said she liked the grass skirt on the bottom tier of a Pink Cake Box cake, and sort of went with the same bright colors. Cake is 10"/8"/6".
A customer wanted an exact replica of my other Tinkerbell cake but requested different colors. OOPS just saw a flower petal broke off! Hmm hope she doesn't notice!
Pink And Dogwoods
A lady wanted this for her birthday...its sort of a downscaled, recolored version of a taller wedding cake on Pink Cake Box.
I think pink and lime green must be the "in thing" right now! Oh man forgot to edit this photo too. Sorry about that!
OOPS forgot to edit this photo! haha oh well. Anyway had a bit of trouble shaping this, chose the photo that least showed my shaping errors!
Baby Shower Cupcake Tiers
Delivered this today...I kind of liked it. I think cupcake towers are fun!
This was actually a wedding cake for a small private wedding. Whatever. haha. Red velvet cake with raspberry filling, for semi-obvious reasons.
Here is a cake and cupcakes I had to do...not a fancy picture, but I wasn't too excited with the cake, as its rather plain. The olive is a cute thing they added since the couple has an infant they nicknamed "Olive" so she had me add that. She didn't want much else on the cupcake. The real cupcakes have the initials on them. I used the new Lucks airbrush shimmer and it didn't make them very gold. Hmm. Oh well. The big cupcake is 6"/8"/9" rounds, varying placement. All is buttercream.
I was asked to do this...I did one like this for my son's birthday like maybe three??? years ago...wait...no I guess four! Anyway...this one turned out lots cuter, so its exciting to do the exact cake and see progress over the years. :-) Its the Wilton bear pan with a few icing modifications, and fondant.
This is for a friend of a friend, she is picking up the cake and taking it to her small wedding. I found out that I am terrible at arranging fake flowers! UGH. Anyway I think the cake does look better in person, although still I wish I knew what I was doing with the flowers....I should have made floral rings and I had NO clue how to do that. Oh well!
This is the only photo I have of these cakes because my tire went flat during delivery and someone had to come pick them up from me on the side of the road!!! Each board is 16" across... also it looks nice and silver in the photo but by the time it was delivery, somehow the silver color took on a purple hue. Weird.
Liberty Bell Groom's
This was for a Groom's cake, the arrow was part of the mascot for a Seminole Club they were members of.
Just a ganache cake I did for someone the other day...homemade chocolate cake filled with whipped milk chocolate ganache, whipped white chocolate ganache, and poured in dark chocolate ganache.
