Converse Sneaker Shoe
This customer actually tried to order a cake from Duff Goldman and I can't remember either they were booked up (I think they were) or they didn't want to pay that amount...I believe the first reason was that they were booked up though. The girl wanted a shoe exactly like her keychain, with her dog on top...designed everything how she wanted it. They were thrilled! I think I could have charged more for this, its a huge cake and took many hours to detail. Sometimes its hard gauge decorating time.

Kindergarten Graduation
Bought the Wilton lollipop stand today so I could "quickly whip up" my son's Kindergarten class Graduation cake. LOL. So why am I uploading this at 1am? Who knows.... Anyway other than the fact that the smiley guy looks like I bought the cake at Walmart or something ("Rollback"!) I think the kiddos will like it.

Dogs Of The Groom
Groom's cake for tomorrow...was supposed to replicate the couple's three dogs. She planned this last year...in the process, one dog passed away and they acquired a new one, so this is their current three plus a little "memorium" for the other dog. Plus, groom is a Phillies fan. This cake is traveling 4+ hours so dogs are laying down for stability.

Lock And Key
This was a corporate cake, its huge, its cut from a 16" two layer square, serves at least 70. I was upset that all the gold luster softened the key top and ended up cracking it in at least 5 places. I tried rigging it while there but it didn't look real great. So refunded them $30 and hope nothing else happens and that they are happy with the rest of the cake. I used a photo of an antique lock they sent me to do this design.

"dancing Under The Stars"
Tween birthday cake to match her theme of "Dancing Under the Stars". Plenty of sparkly stuff, they'll love it. LOL. Mostly buttercream, with fondant accents. Not sure I like buttercream with wire accents, not as much stability as fondant, but the birthday girl hates fondant. Hopefully it will be okay.

Classic Pooh Nursery Cake
Did this for a friend's shower to match the nursery she chose. Pooh pix on the sides are edible images. Pooh topper was just made same day onto the cake. Looks a little cuter in person, I have trouble getting my lighting nice on my photos, plus the photo seems to show more of my messy parts.

Wedding Ring Quilt
Didn't know if I was supposed to post this since I already posted a picture with this in it (my cake show table) but had a few that wanted to see it closer up so thought I'd put it in here. The "wedding rings" were made by my combining a few colors of fondant and rolling them out flat and then cutting it with the smallest Wilton square cutter, and then manually cutting that in fourths. I'm glad I only had to do one tier. haha. Thanks for looking!

Puppy
This is the groom's cake I entered into the "Let Them Eat Cake" competition alongside the wedding cake. I'm donating it tomorrow to the oncology unit at St. Christopher's hospital for Children so wrote a quick msg on it. My friend's baby girl spent months in that unit so I am taking it in her memory.

"let Them Eat Cake" Competition Entry/bridal Show
Here is my table for the "Let Them Eat Cake" competition and bridal show in Philadelphia yesterday. Didn't win anything but had rave reviews onmy pumpkin cake! And the dog cake as well. Plus a personal compliment from Sylvia Weinstock! So it was a good day. Thanks for looking!

Baby Einstein Lion
It was difficult to make a 2D "Baby Einstein" lion drawing into a 3D cake but I tried. Should have made the royal icing "glue" brown before using, I have some white showing here and there....hopefully she will be satisfied enough. Internal stand supporting the head...mane is mostly pieces dried ahead of time, some fresh fondant as well. Blocks and nose RKT.

Puppy First Birthday
Customer found this cake design online (so if its yours, feel free to claim it! She just sent me the photo) but instead of the cookie it showed on top, she wanted a little cake to look like her baby's favorite Gund puppy. My son has one of these too so I knew it well. Haha. She was thrilled with how it turned out. I wasn't big on the design at first but once I finished I actually thought it kind of cute. Made polka dot dog bone cookies too.

My Nestle Order
I'm sorry to post this when I have closeups already loaded but I just am really excited I got this order from the lady at Nestle to begin with, and thought this picture showed the sizes really well. I was so glad to get those set up and off my hands! The lady asked me if I want to do a replica of their factory bldg in three months but I could not tell if she was joking or serious!

Taster's Choice Nescafe
Here is the other half of my Nestle order. I found this one more difficult to be accurate, as the lettering had to stay white and I did not want to have raised fondant lettering all over it. Hopefully the initial impression will outweigh the mistakes! This cake serves around 100.
