Don't judge me too harshly! This cake didn't involve much skill...I threw it together to take to the family Easter dinner where tons of kids will be. Not technically beautiful...but still a lot of fun!
Totally inspired by cakery...I made this for my daughter's birthday party.
Missouri Tigers birthday cake with a "deceased" KU Jayhawk. I did the cake in buttercream and my lovely sister, who is a genius with fondant, made the Jayhawk.
Hats of to cakery! This is one of her designs. My daughter fell in love with this cake and just had to have it for her birthday!
This was the first cake my sister and I did together. She did the fondant work and I did the buttercream and royal icing flowers. Seats are marshmallows rolled in green sugar and topped with a royal icing flower...Tea cups, tea pot and Miss Spider are all done in fondant.
I made these for my daughter's first grade teacher's birthday. Flowers made out of royal icing.
2 tiered all buttercream...thanks to cakery for her inspiration!
