Just for the record .... TEAM JACOB here! There is NO man like Edward!! thumbs_up.gif

NOOOOOOO...TEAM EDWARD all the way here. Almost had to skip most of New Moon when it was all Jacob.

Did SpencersMom mention that we went to the midnight showing?

RIGHT!!! The whole time I was like, "where is Edward?! Where is Edward?!" Then, when she starts hearing his voice I get all excited, only to be let down!

Have you read the draft of Midnight Sun on Meyer's website?

Your pups are the cutest btw! icon_biggrin.gif

I did - and so disapointed that she says there wont be any other thumbsdown.gif That really bummed me!!

I did the SAME thing with New Moon too! I couldnt believe that he was outta there the WHOLE book ... even though I adore Jacob, it wouldnt be the same w/o Edward! And we'll stop there or else it really be a spoiler!! icon_razz.gif

Thanks!

I started reading it. Got to where he had left town and then stopped reading. I hope she finishs that book.

SM, myself, and a few others were talking about this. We think she should do books from each of the vampires view points...or story lines. She's aleady rich, but then she could be rich and never bored. LOL

CL got me addicted to the Twilight Saga. I got my oldest son addicted to the Twilight Saga. We are now BOTH addicted to the movie, and currently driving my hubs crazy discussing the books, the movie, and the release of the DVD. lol

Go to a site like this:
http://www.myemoticons.com/emoticons/moods/
Find the one you want, then right click on it and do copy image location. Then come here and click img, then paste the link, then click img again![/img]

Thanks! Okay, it must be the site(s) I went to because that's what I was doing but they weren't pasting here so I thought I did something wrong. I'll try it again.

Oh, as for the age thing; I remember years ago telling somebody (this whole thing was a joke, btw) how old I was getting or they were getting (okay I don't remember it perfectly), but that person asked, "Well, what about your mother?" and I responded, "Well, she's ancient!". Then my mother asked, "Well, what does that make Grandma?" I looked at her and said, "Prehistoric". We had a good laugh over that.

Just thought I'd share!

gails, you almost got it, but the reason that didn't work is that in between the two IMG codes , the only thing that belongs in there is the URL i.e. http:yadayadayada. You pasted in the whole shebang.

So, without even visiting the site where you got your emoticon, I am going to show you how to fix it, I just pasted what you pasted in. Then I deleted everything before http and everything after .gif (including the quotation marks) Image

Then I hit PREVIEW to made sure it worked!

Can't help w/the emoticons thing, but just wanted to say, I loved turning 40 and being in my 40's is great....life DOES start at 40. It's 50 that's a little daunting...and it's coming fast icon_surprised.gif

I actually had a really hard time with 30. I still hate not being able to say twenty whatever when asked my age.

Thanks Cakelurker... icon_smile.gif They're a pretty strange blue. My eye Dr. calls it ice blue. My parents both have brown eyes, and my mom used to act sad because mine were blue, and now my kids all have dark eyes!!!

My sister and I just talking about this the other day! I totally agree. I would love to hear stories for each character!

C'mon now ladies, I am starring right down the barrel of 50 this coming April, and looking forward to every second of it! Celebrate your life and the good times to be had, and look back at the past fondly. Age is only a number, and a number that matters not at that! icon_biggrin.gif

ps. great instructions. I had never noticed that little img button. As a side note, people having a problem w/that should know that they cannot use the quick reply box to find that little Img button. You have to go to the CC Post A Reply screen, the one w/the text formatting and html code options.

However you can always just type this in:

My mom was like that. Both of her parents had brown eyes and then she came out w/ blue. Both myself and my husband have green or hazel eyes. Katie and Ryleigh both have brown eyes. My stepdaughter has blue...looks alot like my BIL instead of my hubby. Matthew has hazel eyes, the exact same as my hubby.

I bet they close the schools tomorrow because of this snow.

I don't mind being 48..it's just really weird to have my daughter be older than I was when I had her! And my oldest son just turned 21, and that's how old I was when I got married. That all just feels weird!

yeah, I just checked KMOV's website. Nothing yet. Lebanon will be the last one to admit to closing. Think I'll forget to set the alarm for the morning.

Oh, just thought of something. That will mean the sip and chat for tomorrow night might get canceled too.
