Yeh, it's been great!!! My DH doesn't get Lost (haha, punny). My DS and I watch it, but he's 11 so theory is lost (another pun) on him!!!
Hopefully we can all meet up again in 2010 and start anew!

So true! You guys are great! My husband watches with me, but complains about the show the wole way thru! (shut up already!! ) No one else I know watches....even the lady at Blockbuster sorta laughed at me when I asked if the seasons were available to rent...I don't think anyone has even rented them!! LOL!!

I know Im late joining in, Im a newbie. My husband and I absolutely LOVE Lost! I am dreading watching the next season because I don't want it to end. I hope it doesn't end with them waking up from a dream or just not knowing each other and landing in LA as planned. So much has happened! I still miss Charlie... fingers crossed Jacob saved him or something. I know.. doubtful. LOL Ok just had to add something. I only have one friend besides us that watches and sometimes I need to let my Lost mind wander...

We are ready to go to the Red Wings parade already. Last year we took the kids out of school for it. I think it was a valid reason.

Rainbow, Please do post a pic! My oven is not working, and I have to wait until Monday for someone to fix it!! I'm going through withdrawls! I'll take any cake pics I can get LOL!! I had decided to really limit cakes for the summer, but yesterday I made some muffins and individual pineapple upside down cakes and sent them over to my Mom's to bake! Funny how when you can't have something, you want it that much more! At least it gives me a reason/excuse to clean my oven!! LOL!!
BTW, I am really feeling the loss of LOST!! I've even started watching the Bachelorette....not that it's on on Wednesdays even, but that's what I've reduced myself to!!
Yeah I have no idea how I will get through the summer tv-wise LOL I don't watch the Bachelor/ette or Big Brother.

That is funny, how when we can't have something, we want it more. My ipod cable broke (that connects it to the computer), so I haven't been able to listen to any new content. I listen to a LOT of Lost podcasts, it helps me get a little fix. Lol. I decided to buy a cable by some knock-off brand that's waaaay cheaper than one from Apple. 2 weeks ago. I just got it in the mail though, that's why I'm on the computer, lol. W00T! Talk about withdrawls!

I hate summer TV. I don't really watch much though, in the summer. Except for that Wipeout show, lol. It's so dumb, but funny. I watch it with my little brothers, they think it's hysterical! And a big huge *NO* - I don't watch big brother! Let your mind be at rest, cakes22
Hell's Kitchen used to be on in the summer, that was really the only show that I watched & Young and the Restless.....sad I know.
Summer TV sucks!! But at our cottage we don't have satellite or cable so we have DVD's of Lost, CSI-Vegas, Two and a Half Men and the Office and that gets us thru.
OMG that Wipeout show is hilarious. Not as funny as MXC, but still funny. People are just dumb. Sorry but I wouldn't humiliate myself for that little of money. Can you imagine the waiver they have to sign before going on the show???

Pineapple cakes turned out super yummy! I made them in a muffin tin, that way each cake has a cherry and a pineapple ring That banana cake sounds delicious too!

Oh, I am so with you there. We watched the Blair Witch a while ago (when it first came out on DVD). I had to get my DH to come downstairs to the laundry room with me, I was so freaked out. Every little creak in the house is amplified.
When does this last season of Lost going to be released on DVD? I love watching the extra's. Get a little more detail.
They usually aren't released until December... talk about a long wait. I'm sure they do it for the holiday shopping though.
I actually have none of the seasons on DVD, so Iv'e never seen the little extras 
I watched them all online, and when they aired them on the SciFi channel last fall. So maybe when everything is all over, they'll release a box set of all of them, and I'll buy them (can you imagine how expensive that will be though?)
I actually watched one part of an episode of Big Brother last summer, and I was like, people seriously watch this stuff? Terrible.

My sister has offered to burn them for me...she burns movies more than I change socks! I have no idea how to even attempt it! I'm like a 90yr old trapped in this young(ish) body when it comes to technology!!
Hubby got home last night, and brought me some UK magazines with some fabulous looking cake recipes....now I just need a working oven! LOL!!
I used to get UK mags on knitting and crochet. That was my hobby before caking, but I figured out that I am the type of person who needs to see results quickly, hence the reason I took up caking. And the fact that I could make a sweater for someone whose one are was 2 feet longer than the other and whose shoulders started at their elbows 
My banana cake is gone.... I cut it up and gave it to my daycare mom's. I find that if I make a cake for my family, I either eat way too much then feel like crap or I slice it up and give it away. My DH's co-workers are bugging him about when is going to bring in the next cake .
Did you guys read the article re: Evangline Lilly? How she doesn't want to be popular like Angelina Jolie except in her humanitarian ways? It was a little self promoting, but otherwise she says she is happy on her little Lost island in the sun. Did she marry Charlie (can't remember his name, Dominic something hobbitish)
She didn't marry Dominic Monaghan as far as I know.. LOL
I would love to live in Hawaii. My husband knows if he ever goes back to Active Duty Army his first request better be Hawaii! I would so look for the Lost set Haha
I would so love for Charlie to come back next season. I loved his character & his whole story line.
