Two years ago, I would have said you were mean for hoping it is Jack, but he's been little more than whiney cast filler this season, so it wouldn't be the worst thing if it was him to go.

Had to get that out before I go cry my eyeballs out that Faraday is probably dead. He's become one of my faves.
There's so much to talk about! Can't get to it all at one I suppose. I guess the jig's up for Sawyer and Crew. It had to happen sooner or later. If Jack and Kate suceed in 'changing their destiny' will they remember each other? Can't wait to understand how that's gonna work.
Anyhoo, just wanted to say that I canNOT wait for the next 2(?) episodes. It's gonna be flippin' awesome.

Why did Ellie shoot Daniel?
I'm pretty sure that eye-liner Richard is bullet proof so it is not like he was in any real danger of Faraday killing him.
That just didn't seem necessary. Maybe Ellie was just gunho ( sorry I'm punny that way) in her younger years, looking to take out her anger on any man.

I heard that we are supposed to hear more about Jacob before the season finale and find out why Hurly got on the plane. Jorge Garcia spoke about it on the Bonny Hunt show a week ago.

I kinda anted to see what would happen if Richard got shot at. I thought the bllet might just pass through him, or maybe the gun would jam or not go off, like it did to Michael. When Daniel walked into the camp wielding that gun I was like NO NO! Just let them capture you and then talk to them! Although he probably would've been shot anyway.
I loved the Des and Penny stuff, as always. Even though when the nurse came back, and said the other nurse would watch Charlie, I freaked. I thought for sure that Eloise would take him as soon as Penny left. Good thing that didnt hppen!
Lol, maryjsgirl... Miles TOTALLY messed up his 'reunion!' I think that Chang will dwell on it a while and come back to ask questions.
I missed it!! I saw the last 5 minutes when Faraday got shot & I can't even watch it online cause the feed is for the US only!!!

Let's see...
Eloise comes to visit Desmond in the hospital after Ben shot him. She wanted to apologize to Penny, because she blamed Daniel for what happened.
There are some flashbacks of Daniel's childhood. Basically Eloise pushed him into the science field. He just wanted to play the piano darn it!
There is a flashback of him crying while watching the news of the Oceanic being found at the bottom of the ocean. He is sad, but doesn't know why. He is also sick and has a memory issue. Widmore comes to visit to hire him for the freighter. He says the island will heal him of his sickness. Faraday doesn't seem interested due to what he did to Teresa. Then Eloise comes later to tell him to go.
Faraday sees little Charlotte swinging and again tried to warn her to leave and stay away from the island.
Faraday tells Chang to evacuate the island due to the "incident" that is due to come any day. Chang does not believe him. Faraday tells him that he is from the future and as proof tells him that Miles is his son. Miles denies it and Chang tells Faraday to get lost.
The Losties are found out by Dharma. Kate and Jack take Faraday to find his mother with the Hostiles. The other Losties plan to leave for the beach to start new. But, are caught before they leave.
Eloise runs into Widmore while leaving the hospital. She smacks him after he says something about he being Faraday's father. Hmmm...wonder what that's about, lol.
I think that is about it.

I was blown by the final scene...poor, poor Daniel.

The scene with Daniel and Charlotte was sad to watch.
Glad to see them kind of outline the timeline of events...burst of energy...they build the hatch to contain it...Desmond has to push the button to keep it from exploding again...he forgets and their plane crashes.
So I guess what's happening now is that they're trying to prevent their plane from having ever crashed. Will they still remember it all? how odd.
Is next week the 2 hour finale?
At least we now know why the hatch was 'quarantined' and why there was a cemented in area that Jack saw way long ago on first entry to the swan station.
Yeah, who is that nurse that wants to take care of Penny's son. Is she on Widmore's payroll? Poor little Charlie he has a monster for a grandpa.
Any one else wondering just who was the woman off the island that Charles widmore was having an affair with that produced Penny in the first place?
Busy man...two lives, two women and two kids who don't even know they are related. Wait that could describe Christian, too.
And about the rescue plan. Is anyone else wondering HOW Daniel was going to dig up Jughead-the bomb- and get it to the other station to prevent 'the incident' in less than 4 hours?
Miles was right, 'he's at a whole new level.'

Remember when Eloise and Widmore were outside the hospital, and He was saying smething about the sacrifices he's had to make or something, and Eloise cuts him off talking about she sent her son there...and I think he says "Even though you know what's going to happen." Or something like that, I'm totally paraphrasing, I need to watch it again. So maybe in 1977, the younger Eloise shot this man, not knowing it was her son, Faraday then tells her that he is her son, time moves along, and Faraday is born, grows up, and through his whole life she knew this was going to happen to him. She gets him to go back because that's what's SUPPOSED to happen. So Faraday goes back, and gets shot by his 1977 mother and the whole thing just goes in a circle.
Whew! That was a long way to say that no, I don't think the '77 Eloise knew it was her son, but the 2008(ish?) Eloise knew she was sending Faraday to his impending doom.
And no, next week is not the Finale. We have another epi next week, then a week break, then the finale. Not 100% sure on that, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I thought that was a weird plan, about digging the bomb up in just a few hours too, mommachris! I guess we'll have to see

My husband and I both love Lost! We have a special "date night" on Wednesday night where we do nothing else but watch Lost together! He loves it because it's the only time I'll actually sit down and watch TV. I actually put my cake decorating on hold for Lost - it MUST be good, right?!

I thought I heard a rumor that Lost was ending with this season or the next one. Has anyone else heard anything like that? If they are, I totally support it! I mean, I love the show, but I'd rather see them go out on top than just fizzle out and die, you know?

cakes22... Same here! I have a feeling that if we only had one TV, the NHL playoffs would win out I love my Red Wings and the hockey playoffs in general, but not more than LOST!
It was OK for me., maybe because I was a bit distracted. Always good to see my Sayid, though.
So Locke intends to kill this "Jacob" I know one thing - we better see Jacob next week. I'm dying to know how this season will end. and anxious because it will be over!! The worst part of life is waiting for the next season of Lost. 
And Sun and Jin better reunite next week.
Couldn't you just feel Juliette's disgust and dismay to see Kate get on the submarine? haha She thought she was in the free and clear.
I kept hoping they'd take Daniel to some temple to heal and revive him.
At least now we know why women can't seem deliver or live through pregnancy on the island. Hard to have a healthy pregnancy when you live above a bomb.
Ellie is pregnant with Daniel. Did you all see her put her hand on her belly when she was talking to Widmore?
Can't wait to see how the writers are going to clear up this with three of the misplaced in time people actually off the island.
Poor Juliet, she can't catch a break for trying.

I felt so bad for Juilette when Kate showed up on the sub. She looked so heartbroken.
I'm glad that Miles and his Dad talked, and Miles knows what happened with his dad & mom.
Question: when Kate & Jack were talking about changing the path they were on if the plane landed in Cali, instead of crashing, wouldn't that mean that Kate would be hauled off to jail, since she was with a cop/air marshal when the plane crashed?
And when are they going to get around to Claire? Maybe Jacob has Claire? And where is Rose and Bernard? Are they on the island still? Would they be in present or past?
There still are a lot of loose ends to tie up........

I felt bad for Juliette also when Kate showed up. I like Kate but I don't want her coming between Sawyer & Juliette.
I was glad to see Miles tell his father the truth, but wish they would have talked more. And so glad they explained to Miles why his father was not in his life - that he was protecting him & his mom not just leaving them.
I had a thought that maybe Locke thinks that if he kills Jacob he will "control" the island?
Can't wait to see how Sawyer and the girls get off the sub.

How is the bomb going to fix everything? This time travel is really starting to confuse me!
There are SO many loose ends to tie up! How are they even going to do it all in one season! It seems like every episode brings more and more mystery rather than resolving a whole lot. I really hope this doesn't end with everything left hanging...like you're supposed to fill in the blanks yourself. That would be horrible!

They think that the bomb will offset the energy being released by the electromagnetism at the Swan. Thus, preventing their plane from ever crashing on the island. It's very confusing though.
And yes, it dawned on me last week that the bomb going off is what probably made it impossible for the women to give birth on the island.
Hurley and Chang cracked me up.
I'm starting to wonder if this "Jacob" wants John to kill him. John does seem to be the only one who knows things and can actually see Jacob. John has a reason for everything.
or maybe Jacob doesn't even exist.

John seems to have gone off the deep end....did I hear Ben tell Sun that if you're dead the island CAN'T fix that?? So where does that leave John?? He's creeping me out, but I hate to think that he's not a "good guy".
Sawyer, Kate & Juliette - do you think they'll actually make it away from the island? I'm guessing some sort of explosion will leave them "shipwrecked" again....
I loved it when Chang was questioning Hurley, and his reply of "we asked you first" We need to see more Hurley!!
