My first Lupus specialist was named Dr. Payne! God knows, when I was out of remission...just saying his name made me hurt more. :O

Loving this thread...I have to find the photo that I snapped at our Chili's a couple of months back, so I don't misquote it...HI-larious! LOL.

Went to school with a Mary Berry. Another aquaintance of mine named Shirlee married a boy with the last name of Turley. You guessed it now her name is Shirlee Turley. Also, a neighbor of mine said she used to make fun of a girl with a funny last name, when she was younger, then, SHE married a boy with the last name of Barfus. Said she was eating humble pie. Hope noone knows these guys but they are just fun "name combos" to remember. icon_biggrin.gif I also went to a Dr. Payne years ago.

Antonio74, you really should send those photos to Jay Leno. You win something I think if he uses them and I am sure he will use them. Very funny!

When my hubs and I were dreaming up names for our unborn son we had the WORST time agreeing on a name. We wanted to use something that was in the family, but still be semi-cool so he didnt get made fun of.

We came up with Steven Tyler, which was very cute. Until you factored in our last name which starts with a D. I think he would have gotten tortured with those initals.

I went to high school with a girl named Sharon Seeman icon_confused.gif

My father worked with a man named (and I kid you not) Richard Head. He was adamant about NOT being refered to as the shortened version...

My ex boyfriend has the last name of Chappell. He just so happened to marry a girl named Michelle Noelle...hahahahahaha.

My last name is Gates. Our sons name is Russell. No biggie. Until Grandma calls him Rusty!

Our local Roto Rooter has this slogan.."We are number 1 in the number 2 business!"

This thread has had me in stitches...So I thought I'd add to the list...
My husbands psychiatrist's name is Dr. Fearnot. I always chuckle when I say it.
A good friend of mine once knew a lady named Ophelia Legg.
My mom once had a fender bender with a lady named...
Lucy Green Cabbagestalk
At the auto repair shop where my hubby used to work, they had a sign that read....You don't take your bacon and eggs to the diner to have them cooked, and we don't install parts that we don't sell.
My son's barber has a sign that reads...Prices subject to change according to customer's attitude!

Oh OH OH I've got another one!!

This kid on my bus was being tortured one day and I didnt understand why. I was in the 7th grade at the time and poor Todd was being teased by all the other kids for his middle name, which was a family name...."Master".

I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it unti years later when it finally occurred to me...

Todd's last name was "Bates"

I can't think of a good sign at the moment, but I did go to school with a guy named Godfrey Godfrey. I always felt so sorry for him. Even as a small child, I remember wondering what his parents were thinking!!
