Ok, this has nothing to do with cakes, but I'm just so excited and wanted to share it with all my "cake family"

My sweet baby boy, James Daegen, was born Oct. 25 @ 12:23am (Central European Time) weighing in at appx 3600 grams and 50 cm long.

It was the best and worst day of my life all rolled into one......and to top it all off, I finished my FIRST wedding cake only a couple days before icon_lol.gif

Well, thanks to everyone for all the support for that wedding cake. Now I can sit back and relax with a newborn (YEA RIGHT).

Congratulations!

We just found out Tuesday eveing that we are going to be first time Grandparents! Our daughter and son-in-law are expecting. She is due May 19, 2008.

Congratulations!!! Actually you do kind of get to relax when you have a newborn b/c they nurse so much that you have to sit there and nurse about 12 times per day.....or more!

Enjoy every minute, they grow up so fast! I have four daughters and the youngest turned two in July. They are truly a blessing. The best advice I received was "sleep when the baby sleeps!"
