Weekly goals:
1.keep up my exercise at least 4 x's this week.
2. donot eat all my class projects I have to make , rolled butter cream, MMF, and not sample my new cake flavors I've been playin with.
3. Work really hard this week because my short term goal date is next wed. which is my birthday and I want to go out to dinner with my DH and look fantastic!

Okay the fat fairy did pay me a small visit. I lost 1 pound this week. I wish it had been more, but I know not to complain as at least I lost something! And the good news is that I am down to my first short term goal of 143 (which was 1/2 the weight I needed to loose) and my reward is getting a new pair of athletic shoes. However, I bought the new shoes a week or so ago
. They were on sale, but now I can feel like I earned them!

Continue with phase 1 of South beach Diet: Met
Exercise 3 times: Not met, partly due to the weather, but I could have done something at home.

Ok, I weighed in this morning:
I started (this time
) at 168. Today I weighed in at 166, so I lost 2 pounds! Not bad considering my AF is lurking to surprise me at any second.
Ok, weekly goals:
1. Water
2. Stay on my WW plan
3. try to get some exercise in, even if it is once or twice.
Ok, time to weigh in. I am not happy because I did not exercise at all this week. I still lost 2 pounds from last week though (thank you stomach virus).
Start weight - 170. Last week - 159. Today - 157. Total 13 pounds lost so far, 7 to go to reach my first goal of 150. I know when I get there I'll need to lose another 10 or so, but right now I'm just looking to lose this first 20.
The only goal I met this week was no mindless snacking - even as I was eating those Super Gooey Chocolate Drops I knew exactly what I was doing
I didn't exercise partly because I was sick for 4 days, but even when I felt better I still didn't do it.
This week's goals:
1- treadmill 5 times!!! I know I won't be able to get to the gym so I'm leaving off the lifting for this week.
2- no mindless snacking!!!
3- water, water, water
4- get back into the diet routine after being off this week!!

Good morning everyone!! Unfortunately, I didn't weigh in this morning, I slept through my alarm and woke up at 7:30 (which is the time I'm due at work). So things were crazy at my house this morning. I will weigh and report in tomorrow morning.
I think I did alright. My jeans aren't feeling as tight today, anyway.
My goals for the week are to continue to work on my evening snacks and portion sizes. My dad's birthday party is this weekend, so I'm giving myself a free day Sat. night. As hard as I've worked planning it, I'm going to enjoy it!!
I'm going to pass the cheerleader torch to one of our new members, if she's comfortable with it...Monika, would you be our cheerleader this week? All you have to do is keep us motivated and feel free to toss out some challenges, if you like.

Well, I weighed in @ 170 this a.m. buck naked and I weighed 172 clothed at the Dr's office rwo weeks ago so I don't know if I've lost fat or not!

quick someone issue an immeadiate all points bulletin for 2 lost fairies wondering around apparently "not doing their jobs!" If sighted contact the "PUTTING DOWN THE CAKE" club members immeadiately for any of us will apprehend{sp} these little devils and put them to good use! ![]()
I think those fairies got confused, the fat removal fairy missed me but the boob fairy came twice!
Great job for everyone doing so well on their downward motion. Even the maintained are winners as far as I'm concerned. I had a maintain week this week which I am fine with because I haven't been drinking my water and my time is coming so I always seem to gain about 3-5 pounds right around now.
My goals are going to be lofty one's since tomorrow afternoon I am getting on a flight to visit my parents for 5 days. My parents are the most delightful people however it is from them that I learned comfort and celebration in food. My mum asked me what I wanted her to make while I was there and I simply asked her not to make a lot but to have veggies handy to snack on.
That being said, my goals are to walk every day I'm at my parents, drink my water every day for the next week and NOT get sucked into the celebration of food that is bound to be desplayed for me.
On a side note, welcome to all our new friends, we are so glad you joined us.
Maybe the fairie twins need to update there system into computers because their clipboards are being confused. They need to get in on what ever system the tooth fairy has because she's always right ![]()
Well I weighed in at 217 this morning and though I'd like to jump up and down that would take more energy than I have AND I'm certain once I actually eat 2 complete meals in one day it'll be over. But that's okay it's nice to look at that number for now.
My goals are:
Get fully recooperated without eating crap along the way
Disinfect the house from top to bottom (this is my exercise)
Make up more healthy menus
DRINK WATER

Congrats Katie! I am glad the SBD is working for you too. I will bet you will be really excited to break the 160's (probably next week!) I dont find it that difficult to follow either. I was really astounded by how fast I lost weight. Though just as a word of caution, I only lost 1 pound this week. (which is still great of course, but I was kind of hoping to go at that rapid speed for a little longer!) I also didnt do my exercise that i was supposed to. Maybe that wont happen to you, though! I think what I am going to do is start on the phase 2 and then occasionally do a day or two of the phase one and see if that might trick my body into the rapid loss again. WE will see! I am still really happy with the results so far. I had to go put on a different pair of jeans just now because my other pair were falling off. I havent worn these jeans in quite some time. OH and I went to the gym today and my work out shorts were noticable looser today. Yea!
Okay I think we are going to go to Florida the first week of April for spring break. NEED TO BE BEACH BODY READY! That gives me almost 2 months!

After I had my second baby in Dec. '04 I weighed 232. By Dec. '05 I weighed 212. I've done some serious fluctuating in this last year so I was just hovering around 212 but have a goal to lose all the weight I need by the time my husband comes home in August.

WOW!!! That's AWSOME! Money is always a great motivator!
I am saving our change to replace the carpet. We want hard wood, but we'll see how patient I am. I might end up getting carpet before we save enough for the wood. Pitiful, huh? I throw singles and I have put a couple of $20s in there. We don't use credit cards, so everything is done the old fashioned way.
What is everyone going to do for themselves once they hit their goal? I would love to take a vacation for myself. Just me. I need a break. I am so emotionally exhausted, just from the daily grind. I'm a SAHM, with a part time job on the weekends, but I never get any me time!
I would love to go camping by myself in the Outer Banks. Of course, hubby would never let me do that. He'd be too worried about me, plus, then he'd have to dela with the kids and pets.
Maybe I'm just emotional because I am supposed to be getting my visitor any second now. I wih she'd just come so I could return to normalcy!

WOW!!! That's going to be some present you buy yourself. On my birthday right after I had my son, three days after to be exact. My husband told me over dinner that if I lose 50 lbs. he will take me on a cruise. Well, that 50 lbs. has since gone plus some more but no cruise because my hubby is now on a ship AGAIN! The cruise will happen but not for a while. Maybe when he gets off it in two years.
Oh, speaking of "visitor"....TODAY. That MIGHT have something to do with my crabby (putting it lightly) mood this last week. I swear I could have run away from my kids. The excess water weight doesn't help with my mirror image either. I just avoid the mirror all together this time of the month.

Well, I went to MD yesterday and just have a nast sinus infection/cold. ![]()
But hw looked at my weight and asked if I had been dieting and I told him yes. He said according to my medium body frame I should weigh 124-138 at highest and lowest points.
But my original goal had been 115. Too low he says. ![]()
Now I he is the MD but I keep feeling like 124 is still a little off in opinion. I can settle at 120. But at 5'3" 120 isn't super skinny or anorexic looking on a medium body frame. Then he says "Don't forget most men want some meat on their woman." How rude!
Needless to say I told him so and left! Does this seem like an unreal goal to you girls? I mean I started at 250lbs. so 120 isn't too much more to go now at 126. I am perplexed.
