hi, I'm back....SDH (stupid dear husband) dropped something on the bottom of the oven. I turned it on without looking in it (not like me) let it warm up; go back into the kitchen, smoke pouring out of it. I open the oven (mistake; I know) the bottom of the oven is on fire.....quick where is the baking powder...couldn't find it....try blowing it out....doesn't work (don't have that much hot air I guess). close the door back up and start looking for flour (I forgot I moved it) found salt, opened the oven door....thank god the fire went out...smoke everywhere. Surprising, the smoke alarms did not go off (guess I will check the batteries this weekend). Now SDH has a HUGE mess to clean up...guess Mike gets no fries with his burgers!

She (christalda)(sp?) said that she would send out a new invoice tomorrow. I better get it by Monday!

That must have been during my 2 week lapse of sanity. What did you order Cathy?

Just got done with the elliptical for 31 minutes and 3 phone calls. The phone always rings when I am busy.

I figured out a couple of posts later it was the bronwen class. The Cal Java through me off in my tired state. I wish I could go. You guys will have a blast.

DH and I had been talking about it and we even picked out rings together. Then my parents were in town for dinner and he said... I have to go to Little Rock (next bigger town to us where we got our rings) to get "something" and didnt want me to go with. I thought "YES" this is it and I get my ring icon_lol.gif

He asked my dad after dinner for his permission and I was in the room. My dad said "I guess you can have her" icon_confused.gif Dad is very funny in a dry you have to know him kind of way. Still no ring..... Drive home and we sit down to talk. Im thinking....still no ring.... did they lose it? Was he being so obvious to throw me off? Then he turns the cd player on to a song he already picked out and asked me to dance in the kitchen. When the song was over he got on one knee and asked me if I would do him the honor of being his wife icon_rolleyes.gif tear....

I didnt know he had it in him! THought that was very sweet and I got my ring before Thanksgiving so I could show it off to all the family when he went with me and I went with him. Cant wait to hear everyone elses story.

Edward Lewis: What makes you think I'm a lawyer?

I was all excited about it when I heard and wanted to find it in my area. Looked it up online and it was really basic stuff. Wilton yearbooks are way advanced compared to what they showed on the site.

Mine is quite romantic! We were laying in bed (yes, I was a sleaze who lived with the guy for 2 years) - he threw the ring at me...he said "here, you happy??"

He was mad because I gave him an ultimatum....marriage or move out.

Vivian: Can I call you Eddie?
Edward Lewis: Not if you expect me to answer.

Edward Lewis: I told you not to pick up the phone.
Vivian: Then stop calling me.

Mr. Hollister: Just how obscene an amount of cash are we talking about here? Profane or really offensive?
Edward Lewis: Really offensive.
Mr. Hollister: I like him so much.

Vivian: You're forgiven.

Old Lady at Opera: Did you like the opera, dear?
Vivian: It was so good, I almost peed my pants!
Edward Lewis: She said she liked it better than Pirates of Penzance.

PS. A movie version of Pirates of the Penzance is coming on tv this week. I was roaming through the movie channels (hbo I think) and found it. I cant wait to watch it since I dont know anything other than the pretty woman quote about it. Anyone else?

Hello, my name is Wendy....and Im addicted to sugar. I totally negated my work out and 100 situps but I guess it could be worse. I could have eaten it and not worked out, right?

Ben & Jerry's Phish Food - the best ice cream ever created. YUM! What are all your fav flavors of ice cream?

I like Fish Food. They don't make my favorite anymore. They took Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz and mixed it with the White Russian and called it From Russia with Buzz, SO darn good. I also love One Sweet Whirled, which is still out. Another good one, that I didn't think I would like but do is Marsha Marsha Marshmallow.

My favorite non- B&J's is Carmel Cone from Haagen Daaz, and Moosetracks from Denali (only sold at Vons--and I don't like the chocolate Moosetracks) I also LOVE chocolate chip cookie dough by just about anybody, and mint chocolate chip. And mint chocolate chip cookie dough. I LOVE both Carvel's and Coldstone's Cake Batter ice cream. At Coldstone I usually get Coffee Lover's or Birthday Cake Remix.
