Thanks Mite.
MJ my tree is artificial evergreen but I flocked it myself. Target had a white tree last year, but I wanted a slim line tree. So I made one for much less.

Your guest bedroom sounds pretty.

I had to leave mine up till March that same year. Glad I was not alone!
That was the year I spent 2 months in AZ. I did not want to see what kind of mess DH would have made packing all that stuff up! So I waited until I came home.
Ya know you take such care in putting it out on display, and it only takes minutes to get it all down and in a box!

Did you just buy the window snow stuff or is there something else to use? Wilton fondant?? icon_lol.gif oh I forgot we are in the lounge! icon_lol.gif I like the idea of doing it myself then it would be easier to touch up as needed!

BTW I thought about all you halloween people today as I was cobwebbing my house! We had some serious haunted house stuff going on!!

cant believe that you arent going to stay long enough to find out what Flocking a tree is!

You see when a woman and a tree love each other very much JK JK JK ORANGE JUICE!!!!

To flock a tree you spray it with fake snow, even though the warning label on the can of fake snow clearly states not to. There are other ways to do it too, but they are really messy involves liquid starch and soap flakes!
Sweet dreams!

I do not like spiders. I have a cobweb spinner for my Halloween needs = cobwebs minus the spiders.

I bought one from ebay. It works well. But I dont use it around fabrics. Its just rubber cement. I have been looking for a product called fullers earth (I think) if you sprinkle that on your webs they look movie quality.
