Hey!
I have an update on the bus & bakery jobs. I'm finished with my bus tests!!! I passed everything with flying colors!! 
I AM A SUB BUS DRIVER NOW!!!! 
I have subbed one day so far & I have 3 days to sub for the week ahead~ I've had time to ride w/ a few bus drivers so I could get familiar with their routes. What a blast I had! I think I will like it
Also... the day before Thanksgiving I was driving to my parents & I finally 
checked my voice mail on my cell phone... It had 2 calls from the owner of the Cold Stone Creamery. He wanted to see if I was still interested in the decorator's job there. (I told y'all about that a month or so ago remember? I didn't put in for the job my friends told the owner about me & he called me.) I called him & told him yes I was interested! So I have another new job! I've been without a "real" job for 2 years & all of a sudden I have two! 
This is going to be such a challenge!! I hope I can do it! 
I'm very excited but nervous at the same time. Start 2 new jobs in the same week. Am I crazy or what??? 
I wanted to share my news with the CC family~ Thanks for all the prayers!! Ya'll ROCK!!!!!

WOW, TC!!! That's awsome!!! YAAAAAYYYYY for YOU!!! Such a blessing...you'll handle it just fine, I'm sure. Just remember to share all of those commercial bakery/decorating secrets with us...hehehe 
Now we just need to pray for strength, stamina & patience for you over the next couple of weeks as you start both jobs at the same time...whew!! Oh, but I forgot....your a TURTLE!! Determination is in your blood, right!! 
Congrats! Cold Stone Creamery makes some delicious cakes. I had the owner of one of our local stores take my Course 1 class...I should have offered him free Courses 2 and 3 in exchange for some ice cream cakes. I know you'll have so much fun with that job!

Thanks Cakepro~ Yes, the cakes are good there!! They only use bettercream & ganache to decorate the cakes. OH, candy & cookies too! The owner said I can add my own touch to make them look prettier if I want. They liked my cake album & said I was very creative. I just hope I can keep my fingers from going into my mouth!!!! I love icecream & I love chocolate!!!!!!! If your ever in Bossier come by! I'll give you some freebies!!
Oh, I forgot! After the holidays the owner wants to send me to a cake class in Little Rock! I'm very excited about that!! I hope I can last that long!!

Thanks Ya'll!! I've been school bus driving all week! I LOVE IT!! But it sure is cold in the mornings & dark getting the bus started!! I'll be busy the rest of the week. I went to the Creamery today. I think I'll like this job. It's very easy! Plus most of the time all I will be doing is decorating the cakes. The other employees will be putting them together. Ya! Plus they do bday cakes too so I'll be busy with that too. I get to make my own hours which I'm going to love! Never had a job that I could make my own hours!! I just hope I can stay out of the ganache & all the icecream!!!!! It smells sooooooooo good in there!!!

I will try to keep ya'll posted. I will have to practice more on my torting techniques! I will be doing a lot of torting!! I absolutely hate torting!!! Any tips would be great!! Thanks ya'll!!

My goodness what a week I've had!! I started the cake decorating job on Tues evening. I worked till 7:30 pm. Next day went to sub for a bus driver (subbed all week), then went to the cake job, then back to the bus in the afternoon, then back to the cake job till 7:30 pm every night this week! I worked around 12 hours a day! Then went in this morning for a few hours. My feet are killing me!! I asked the owners for a key today. The Cold Stone Creamery doesn't open up till 11 am so I only had a few hours to work before I had to go back to the bus. That's why I've had to go back after the PM routes. Thank goodness they gave me a key today. Now I can go in right after the am bus routes. Ya!!!
The creamery is working out great! I really like it! Then this morning not even 30 minutes after I got there I slipped & fell!! I just got some new tennie shoes & they weren't slick resistant (didn't know til I fell)!! I slipped in some water that another worker spilled. I busted my knee & my elbow up!! My knee is the worst. I finished working even though I had instant bruising & pain!!!!!! Now I can hardly walk on my leg. If this keeps up I'm gonna have to go to the dr. on Monday & have some xrays done. My knee is very swollen! I can't believe the 1st week I fall & get hurt!! Leave it to me to do that!! Ahh!!
