Oh dear kiddo, sorry to hear that, ouch! What a week you had! Nice you can work around your bus driving though and nice they gave you a key to go in earlier!
Sounds like an exhausting week, talk about jumping in all at one time, eh! Bet nobody had to rock you to sleep this week.
You take it easy, hope those booboos goes away fast!

Thanks for your concern Squirrelly~
My DH threatened to kick me out of bed if I snore one more night! I told him I'm snoring because I'm exhausted!

I told the owners they had to give me a key so I could come in early or I couldn't do the job. I can't come in 2 times a day. They gave me a key today. I'm crazy to have started 2 new jobs the same week!! It will work out though. I have faith. The money is going to be good!!

Snoring is often a sign of total exhaustion in people that don't snore normally! Haha, tonight though, he will be treated to both snoring and "ouching" as you roll over, me thinks, you poor soul!
I would think it will take a good two or three weeks for you to get used to such a hectic routine.
Kinda neat that you get two totally different things to do though, I think. That way you won't get bored. And it is good to hear the money is good for you too!
Bet you are going to be stiff tomorrow! Just watch for swelling, sometimes a fall like that can wreak havoc the next day!

Well I was stiff today. I tried to stay off my feet as much as I could. I'm having to limp so I'll be taking it slow for a few days. I actually took a 4 hour nap today!! Had to catch up on my sleep! I've got a key to the store now so I can go straight to the Creamery after the AM bus route. Then go back to the PM route then home! Ya! No more getting home at 8pm!

Cheers for a better week!! I hope you all have a GREAT week too!!

Has anyone heard from the turtle, how she has been doing since Sunday?
Hope your injury wasn't too serious to keep you from doing what you love!

Thanks SQC, I'm a little worried that her injuy may have been more serious than she thought. I sure hope not.
I'll keep watching for her and keep my fingers crossed that she's busy with cakes!

Congratulations Tina! That must be so exciting for you. If it ends up being too much you could always do one or the other, right? I hope you have fun and learn lots!

Hey!

Sorry if I worried ya'll. My knee is still hurting but I have been driving & working at the Creamery too. Just having to limp. I go to the dr. tomorrow so I will let ya'll know what's up. I think I just bruised my knee real bad. It's still hurting & very tender. My elbow is ok. Not a bruise.

I haven't been on CC because I have been exhausted! I come home after driving the bus & decorating, eat supper then go to bed! I'm giving the Creamery job 2 more weeks. I really love working there but if I'm still staying tired I will have to let the decorating go. Bus pays more!

I'll let ya'll know what the dr. says. Thanks for your concern~ icon_smile.gif

I'm glad to hear your feeling better. It would be a shame to have to give up a job you enjoy but, if you push yourself to far, you or one of your jobs would suffer for it. Your right to think about it. I must of misread, I thought you were a sub driver. But by reading, it would seem your driving full time. Take care of yourself, first.

Hey there tc...let us know how the doctor appointment goes. The bakery must really be busy, too bad it wasn't a better schedule for you though. Do the best you can and don't get yourself overly tired, your health comes first.

Hey!

Got x-rays done today. It didn't show anything bad! I just have severe bruising like I thought. I had ACL surgery in 2000. Dr had to take all of my cartlige & meniscus out so I have no padding in my knee. Dr. said when I bump or fall on my knee it will bruise easier then people with cartlige. SO I have to be careful, ya right! Me, Grace!! Ain't that right Jo!! LOL!! Still sore but feeling better~ Thanks for all the concern!

Vitade~ I am a sub school bus driver. I do the AM bus routes & end at about 8:30 am, then go to the Creamery to work till 1:30 pm, then go back to do the PM bus routes. I usually get done about 3pm or 3:30 pm. Then I go HOME!! I've been getting called to sub pretty much every day. I'm staying busy! I can't wait to get my first check!! I'm trying to balance both jobs. So far I'm just staying tired. I think it has to do with getting up around 4:30 or 5:00 am!!

Hope everyone is doing well!! I miss talking to all my CC buddies!!!! Have a great weekend!!!!

I give you all the credit you deserve. Having one job is hard enough. My husband has a torn meniscus but didn't want to have surgery. Fortunately, he was able to switch to a less physical job. I wish you well. Just make sure you take care of yourself.

Your very sweet Vitade~ I feel for your hubby! If he has a tear it won't heal on it's own. I wish him good health too! Both of the jobs I work equal a full time job. I just have a lot of running to do. icon_smile.gif I don't work near as hard as most people. The bus is so easy & the Creamery is just a lot of standing. Tell your hubby to research the meniscus. He might find a newer surgery. I was so glad I finally had the surgery. I would do it again. It has helped me a lot! Good luck to you & your family~
