An Icing Experiment...

This was an experiment to see how different icing recipes held up under the exact same circumstances... The pink side was one recipe, the white was another. The experiment was a success with both. The topper is a vintage set of kissing angels.

100Th Bday Celebration

I had so much fun making these cookies. They are for a "candyland" themed school dance tonight. They are NFSC with royal icing. I will post more.

Thanksgiving 2008

It was chocolate cake with chocolate filling and covered with chocoalate fondant. I rubbed some crisco into fondant to make it shine. Figures were made from mixture 50/50 fondant and gum paste.

Christmas Cake

6", 8", & 10" cakes. Bottom and top are WASC w/ BC; middle is chocolate w/ chocolate BC--all covered in MFF. Trees are fondant w/ RI details. For "day job" Christmas party. Inspired by old Wilton Yearbook. TFL!
