This lovely couple loves the beach every year for there anniversary, but they couldn't get there this year....so the beach came to them! Cake covered in fondant, everything else is gum paste.
Not really a baby shower cake, but a welcome cake for two new babies in our family. Gumpaste Shoes and Sweetpeas.

This is a 12, 9, and 6 in. rd cake done in bc. I have never done brushed embroidery before so this was a first for me. I really made a huge mistake by petal dusting the centers, what a mess, next time I will just color some RI and put it in the middle. Ribbon done in fondant, Roses made from gumpaste. TFL
Man these are easy! I got this one done in record time, while watching the new Bond movie ;) 8" banana cake, all buttercream (black swirls are chocolate bc).
Chocolate cake infused with coffee, buttercream icing, cracked sugar ice, fondant boards and real beer and rope. It was SOOO fun maknig this cake. I wanted to make one for so long but didn't think I could do it! I am pretty proud of this one!

This cake is 2-16" rounds on top, 2-12" rounds in the middle and 2-8" rounds on the bottom. They are 3" deep pans so each tier is about 7 inches tall after torting and icing. Buttercream covered with piping detail.

This cake is for mom's who are always working hard and never get a moment to themselves. :) It is a french vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling and buttercream frosting for the "water". Everything else is done in MMF.
Made for a couple of co-workers. Yellow cake covered with buttercream basketweave. Flowers are royal icing. Cake cracked right down the middle when laying it down on table at work :( They were still quite happy! Began using foam board after that!
10" - 12" - 14" The top two are WASC with cherry filling, and the bottom one is chocolate with buttercream filling. All cakes are all buttercream frosted with bc roses.
Entirely cream cheese buttercream. Customer requested purple and blue butterfly. She was very happy!! I was pleased - I was worried about getting the purple right.
