Wonder nold, all fondant gown, fondant covered doll pick (minus head and arms), BCDream frosted base, I also made the invitations for the shower and I wanted them to match - got the inspiratoin for the gown from cakeconfections here on cc - thanks! I was VERY pleased with how it came out! :-)

Sydney's Birthday

For my daughter's 6th birthday. She saw a picture and then told me what she would like. Here's the end result, sorry about the bad pic. Choc and Yellow cakes, BC icing, MMF decorations. TFL

5 Tier Wedding Cake with Mini Cakes on an top of an urn as a table centerpiece. A lot of details, time and continuous steady hands... just to finish the cake. We did it in less than 6 hours. Everything edible!

I bought the Wilton "cupcakes" magazine because I saw these and had to try them. They were pretty quick and easy to make! We are having a neighborhood block party this afternoon, and I just needed a cake project to do. My DH laughed when I told him and said he hoped I would still be this passionate about cakes in 4-5 years. Is there any doubt..............? LOL!

Butterfly Cake

Lavender

This cake is one of 4 I made for 07-07-07. It was featured in the 6pm local news special report on 07-07-07 weddings. The cake topper ia all gum paste flowers and they include roses, agapanthus, ribbon ferns and bouvardias. It looked exactly like the bouquet the bride was carrying

Got the idea from other cakes on this site. Coconut cake covered in buttercream with fondant figures and blanket. Piped buttercream ruffle bedskirt. Pastillage headboard. Cake and fondant side tables.

Lipstick Tube

This cake was done for a baby shower for a mom-to-be who loves to put on lipstick. It was a fun cake to make.

Pink Birthday Cake

Pink fondant, sugar pearls and dragees of several sizes. The flower is gumpaste brushed with luster dust. It took a long time to put all the dragees into place!!!!

Half Chocolate Half White

This idea was born from a bride and groom that wanted white and chocolate icing but didn't want a grooms cake.

Purple Romance

4 tier wedding cake with a different design on each layer. Fondant covered and embossed board, fondant covered cake and gum paste flowers, dusted with lilac shimmer. Gum paste leaves dusted with white satin. A romantic cake for a romantic day.

Ring Box Cake

WASC cakke (scratch no cake boxes) with doche de leche filling. Originally was a 8 square, but i trimmed it down b/c the cake had too much browning on the edges. Fondant on the sides. The band is gumpaste formed over a small coffee cup. Silver dagrees and painted in nu silver luster dust. The original stone was purchased from Michaels. I used the CopyFlex Liquid from makeyouownmolds.com to make a copy and then poured sugar in to get a fully edible cake presentation. What is not pictured is the lid of the ring box that stood up behind the ring. Hopefully the client will send me a pic so i can post the full assembled cake. TFL happy new year.
