Elvis Apple Spice Cake

I just finished this one a couple of hours ago for my b-i-l's b-day. We'll be serving it on Thanksgiving since his actual b-day is 12/2 but he'll be flying in for the holiday. It's my 2nd FBCT ever. I think it's good, but was extremely worried when I made the cake as the bottom of the pan was where all the apple slices and cooked liquid (spices) were; so that's (now the top) where I had to frost and place the FBCT. It worked out, but was difficult getting a smooth layer with the cinnamon bc under Elvis.

Thank you so much. My husband brings it up every so often - he fell in love with this cake. lol Ironically, (no offense) I was never an Elvis fan.
