Welcome to Music Around the World - Cake Notes! Today, October 1st the world celebrates International Day of Music! Music Around the World - Cake Notes is a cake collaboration created by Elisabete Caseiro from Betysugarland - Cake Design by Elisabete Caseiro that gathered 41 cake and sugar artists from all over the world to celebrate International Day of Music in the sweetest way. You can see all the creations together in our gallery, as well as the individual albums with details of every piece. For each piece there is a video that illustrates somehow the presented piece, so you can not only appreciate the beauty of the creation as well as the music itself. All the flowers are free forme made( with my own method),the cake is buttercream covered wirh little isomalt grains coated. The sawl is modelled in satin Ice gumpaste and hand painted. Hand-piped lace details on a 3-tiered buttercream wedding cake. Adorned with fresh sunflowers made this a fabulous and sweet September wedding!
Sea Themed Cake
I had the opportunity to make this Sea themed bridal shower cake for a special bride who was having a destination wedding. It is a buttercream cake with ombre shades of blue and decorated with a sea horse topper,sea shells,star fish,sand dollars,corals,sea weeds and pearls to match their invitation.

7in white mud layered and filed with white ganache. Covered in fondant. Horn, ears, and flowers were made with gumpaste. Buttercream swirls added sprinkled with eadible glitter.
50Th Anniversary Geode Cake
Three tiers - chocolate with chocolate buttercream filling, frosted with vanilla buttercream, French vanilla and strawberry both with cream cheese buttercream filling and frosting, all covered in homemade LMF - with rock candy geode and edible gold dust for my best friend's 50th wedding anniversary.
Bottom layer has a custard filling with buttercream frosting and fondant stripes. Top layer is strawberry filling with buttercream frosting and fondant butterflies.
Valentine Heart Cake
I made this heart-shaped cake to celebrate my daughter's 2 months "bday". It is close to Valentine's day, so we decided to have a Valentine's day theme. It's a white cake with almond buttercream filling covered with pink buttercream frosting. Each rosette has a red M&M as a "button". I used a heart-shaped cookie cutter to place some sprinkles on top of the cake. All edible!
