Birthday-cakes Images on Cake Central
This was for a close friend that loves Star Wars, but I had 3 more cakes to do for the same day... plus my daughter birthday party, so it had to be something quick and easy to do... He really loved it... so much that he didn't want to cut it. TFL Ana Remígio CUPCAKES & DREAMS My facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/CUPCAKES-DREAMS/115882865103239?ref=hl
Camping Themed Birthday Cake
I am a bit behind in posting cakes. I made this tent one back in April for a camping themed party. I wasn't 100% satisfied when it was done but the birthday girl was happy with it so that is what counts, right? The fly gave me grief, just could not get it to look right. In the end I cheated and placed a thin piece of cardboard under it to try and keep the shape of it. The ropes are wire, everything else is fondant.
Care Bear First Birthday Cake
I saw this design online and fell in love with it. I thought: I'm making this cake for my baby's first Birthday. There are 3 cakes: 6", 8" and 10" double vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. The stand is a wilton stand. I made all the decoration in advance (fondant/gum paste) and let it dry. First time working with fondant! Quite challenging to make the rainbow and the slide. Care bears are not edible. Thanks for looking!
Melting Ice Cream Cone
1st birthday cake. 2 tier chocolate (top) and vanilla cakes (bottom). Vanilla Buttercream frosting (mint green) with white chocolate ganache drip (colored pink) topped with gold colored icecream cone and sprinkles!
Tools And Tool Belt
This was made for a dear friend's 70th birthday who installed alarm systems for years. Of all the cakes I've made, this has turned out to be one of my favorites. I was given a photo of his tools and tried to match them even with the years of wear.
Batman. 1St Birthday Cake
Buttercream blended yellow black & cream bottom tier with Batman symbol. Fondant Batman top tier. Black, flesh, yellow, white. Chocolate sponge cake with chocolate cream filling & creme de la liche throughout all cakes.
United States Marine Corps Birthday Cake
Carved boots, rucksack, footlocker and hat cakes. Cupcake is rice crispie treat and dog tags are modeling paste. Cake served approximately 125.
I call this my froufrou-blingbling cake. It was made for a raffle for my niece's dance group. The winner was having a birthday party for her Mum that night and had run out of time to make a cake, so it worked out perfectly. I was inspired by cakes from Faye Cayhill and Paul Bradford and this gave me a chance to try their techniques. I really liked the way the wafer paper feathers reflect in the cake board.
A boob cake for my son-in-law's birthday, at his request. :-) Two chocolate porter cakes, with cherry filling, covered in chocolate ganache and fondant.
So for his 3rd birthday DS decices he wants a 3d gruffalo cake... thank you very much google image search! Lol. Carved cakes was not something I was all that comfortable with but I think it turned out ok and is still my favourite cake to date ☺
Birthday cake for my 5-year-old grandniece who insisted it be about ponies and that it incorporate pink in its various forms. Otherwise I was given free rein. :-P French Vanilla WASC with raspberry cream filling, covered in SMBC and fondant. And yes...there's 2 cakes there. Way easier. :-)
