A copy of BeckyB's rough iced cake with moth orchids. The bride saw her cake and fell in love with it. This has 10 moth orchids on a butterpecan filled with cream cheese and rum cake with pineapple filling. TFL!!!!

For a bridal shower for one of my upcoming brides. Paisley shaped cakes with chocolate colored scrolls and grum paste roses. I have never done this type of scroll and it was time consuming but worth it!
Single crimson rose with ivy and rose leaves top a 6" round and 10" square on a 16" round. Buttercream with ivory scrolls, fondant/gumpaste monograms in the font Vivaldi. Butterpecan and French Vanilla cakes. TFL
60 gum paste roses on a tiered hex cake with ivy and rose leaves. Cakes were butterpecan with apple pie filling and cream cheese. Serveral of the catering staff and the groom's grandma thought the roses were real. That is always a good thing! Thanks for taking a peek.
This is the demo cake I did for the ICES Louisiana DOS in October. It was on holiday cakes - and I LOVE the brown guy so I did a gingerbread wedding. I airbrushed the cake brown so I could add little shadings. Red Ric Rac that is not too even (I lost my zig zag cutter), icing cap on the 6", big red bow, and "gumdrops" around the edges. Hand modeled Gingerbread man with a sassy beret (he is French) and his fat little bride (she bakes and obviously eats her own gingerbread). It was a simple little cak
Black fondant bucket with gum paste handle. Two sugar bottles and sugar ice. The bucket was so shiny it looks like it should be black tie instead of beer! This went with the 3, 6, 9" black and white wedding cake I posted earlier.
3, 6, 9" cakes. The 3" and 9" are hummingbird cake and the 6 is French Vanilla. For a friend turning 50...a 50's inspired cake with black, pink, turquoise and white. The top tier has a black & white "floor" and a pink poodle. Middle tier is in turquoise with "records" floating there. Bottom tier is diamonds. It was the hit of the party. TFL
Tiny wedding cake...a 3, 6, 9 French Vanilla cake. Thin black ribbons and tiny bows circle the cake and a gumpast B sat on top. It is the smallest wedding cake I have ever made! When I delivered it to a very casual venue (it was a reception for a couple who had married in the Caribbean) there was a life size cut out of John Wayne!! LOL he looks like the groom. The pic I am posting was taken at home. TFL
Butterpecan and chocolate cake squares - 6" and 10" offset. Black fondant on top cake with pearl dust swirls, silver dragee border, black diamonds on the 10", dress bow and loopy bow. I really liked this cake and the customer was thrilled. I wanted to keep this cake! TFL
6, 9, and 12" rounds with blue borders and dots. Randomly placed golden daisies. Butter pecan cake with pecan pie filling
6, 8, 10, rounds on a 12" square. Diamond impressions and lacy scrolls. Butterpecan and French Vanilla cakes. Jewel toned gum paste roses.
Criss Cross ribbons with tiny ribbon bows that were pearlized. Pearl borders and one huge rose. 6, 10, 14, and 18" cakes. TFL
Pink fondant off set squares. The cakes were butterpecan. Gum paste roses that were dusted to soften the color. TFL
Fall colored roses, callas and leaves with acorns. All butter pecan cakes. TFL
6, 10 and 14" cakes with "sand" icing and hand dusted white chocolate sea shells. Sea Shells are one of my ffavorite elements on a cake. Thanks for letting me share.
5, 8, and 11" cakes with maple and oak leaves falling down the sides. Leaves were airbrushed in various fall colors. I did get a note from the bride saying it was gorgeous and she loved it. TFL
6, 8, 10, 12 squares in buttercream with lacy/scrolled sides, 8mm dragee borders and gumpaste roses, calla, stephanotis, cherry blossoms and ivy. Some are airbrushed highlighter silver and black. Butterpecan cakes. TFL
5 tiers of buttercream impressed with a lace impression mold. Handmade gum paste roses, grapes, calla lilies, cherry blossoms, stephanotis, sweet peas and ivy. It took me amost 2 and a half hours to set this cake up and arrange the flowers to my liking - the florist/coordinator said he was so impressed with the sugar flowers and just loved them!!1 Thanks for taking a peek!
