Treasure Chest
I made this cake for my friend's son's 5th birthday party. It was a pirate themed party. My friend and I both worked on the assembling of the cake and the fondant decorations. This treasure chest is 8" x 12" and 4" high. The chest is chocolate cake and the lid is made from RKT. It is covered in chocolate butter icing with fondant decorations.

Leopard Spots
I made this cake for my son's 17th birthday. He loves chocolate cake and I wanted to try my hand at ganache. The filling is a mix of cream cheese and Oreo biscuits, and the cake is covered in chocolate ganache. For decoration I painted fondant strips with leopard spots and topped the cake with shortcake chocolate balls.

Roses On Lavender Lane
Set of four granadilla cupcakes with granadilla curd filling. They are covered in marbled shades of purple fondant with a cobblestone design embossed on them. The roses are made from a gumpaste/fondant mix in shades of coral and pink. I made a few lavender sprays for some filler flower detail.

Yellow Roses
I made this cake for a ladies tea party at our church. This is an 8” lemon cake with lemon curd filling. It is covered in butter cream with fondant/gumpaste decorations. I also made some matching cupcakes. I tried Jessiecakes upside down method of applying the butter cream. This technique worked very well for me. I also used Petalsweets bud and hydrangea tutorials to make the buds and hydrangeas. My hydrangeas, however were not wired.
