Baby Einstein
The main cake is a vanilla 8 inch cake covered in vanilla butter cream, the Baby Einstein picture was taken from the birthday boy's bib and is a frozen butter cream transfer. The mom wanted an egg free cake, originally, but we came up with this design so that all the cupcakes are egg free for the children, and the cake has eggs in it for the grown ups!

Zombie Cake
This cake was actually a birthday cake for a guy who is really into Zombie movies. It is a chocolate base with a white butter zombie head. All crumb coated in vanilla butter cream then covered with home made fondant! Some of the blood is 1/2 and 1/2 icing and piping gel, some of it is just gel color mixed with vodka and splashed on.

Princess Snow White & A Castle
I made this for my daughter's second birthday! Snow white is modeled from MMF and her dress is a MMF covered mini-wonder-mold cake! The castle towers are toilet paper rolls with ice cream cones on top, all covered with MMF. The cake is an 8 inch round with two 4x4 cubes on top.

Peeking Bunny!!
I am so proud of this cake! Cake and bunny are iced with butter cream icing, the eyes, nose and pink of the ears are colored chocolate. The eggs are chocolate truffles covered with poured fondant then decorated with butter cream. The flowers are royal icing. This was for a family Easter Party and all the kids and adults loved the cake. March, 2008

Happy Birthday Mom (Wilton Course 1 Graduation Cake, With Roses)
This is my graduation cake from Wilton Course I!! It coincided with my birthday so I made it for me. I am pleased with how most of my buttercream roses turned out, I think it is definitely a practice makes perfect art though! I'm really looking forward to learning lots of flowers during course 2! Made on February 26, 2008.

Clowning Around (Wilton Course I, Class 3)
Another cake from cake classes! I had this one all ready to put the clowns on when I arrived because at class 2 I had to bring the cake home to finish it! I love that I am learning new things in these classes!! I've already registered for course 2. I made this one in February, 2008.

Valentine's Rainbow
I'm sure lots of you recognize this cake as the Wilton Course I, Class 2 cake! I had my class just a couple days before Valentine's Day so modelled it for that! I am quite happy with it, I'm definitely learning a lot! I did fool up the letters so it is a bit smudgy under the first few letters of Valentine's! I made this one in February, 2008.
