First Wedding Cake
This cake is a 13-9-6 double layer round wedding cake. The couple's colors were ivory, brown and orange. All the flowers, leaves and sticks in the topper are hand made from gum paste! I think I did a good job, but I don't like the design or color combination. :( The bride and groomed loved it, and that's what matters right?? (July, 2009)

Lego Blocks & Lego Man
I had a terrible time trying to level this cake, I have no idea why since I've made many chocolate cakes without issue. :( This started as a 9x13 chocolate cake that I cut to make the 3 different lego blocks. Each cake/block is covered with vanilla butter cream then vanilla fondant icing. The lego bumps on top are just fondant cut outs. Lego Man and the words on the cake board are fondant / gum paste.
