Girl Scout Sash Cake
I made this cake for my daughter's Jr. Girl Scout Troop's bridging ceremony using the troop sash as a model for the cake. I "cheated" when it came to making the badges. I simply printed them from the Girl Scout website and laminated them. Other than that, the cake is yellow cake with buttercream frosting.

65Th Birthday Cake
This is a cake that I did for my father in law's 65th Birthday. The picture is him from when he was a little boy. It is an edible image that I ordered from Icing Images. I was going to accent the cake with blue & yellow around the borders, but when I put the picture on the cake and added the edible glitter, it had an antique look to it, which I decided not to change.

Family Reunion Cake
This cake was made for a family reunion. We are having dinner at a a restaurant that was once my grandfather's bar called Riccio's Cocktail Lounge. The inspiration for the design came from a matchbook from the bar (the color and the writing) - the dots and the martini glass add a retro touch. Credit is due to CC Member "Cakery" for the idea for the borders. I had fun with coming up with the idea for this cake. My kids love it!! Thanks for looking!
