This was a little bit more complicated than I thought, but it turned out OK> This was my first "cake-tastophe" When delivereing this one (because of the heat and humidity), the icing kept sliding off the edge of the cupcake. I could have cried. :( Anyways, all CBC.

This was for a couple who went off to Vegas and got married. Their friends and family wanted to have a reception for them back here at home and wanted a "wedding cake" that wasn't sooo traditional. So they had me to match the colors of the invitations. All CBC with fondant accents.
This was for a girl turning 16 who said when she grew up she wanted to be a Victoria's Secret angel. Her grandmother ordered this for her. The wings are made from rice krispie treats and covered in fondant as well as the lid for the box.

I got the inspiration for this cake from a cake by Ginger08. (Thanks) Anyways, it's for my best friend from high school, and I just thought her family would bet a kick out of this. The stork's head and wings are rice krispie treats covered in satinice fondant. The legs are dowels covered in fondant and the cakes are covered in CBC w/ fondant & gumpaste accents. This was also my first attempt at the tiara.( This was the 3rd one I made, I broke the other 2). Lots of lessons learned.
