This is a 4 layer white cake mix with white chocolate pudding mixed into it. 2 of the 4 layers were colored blue and strawberry presserves were in between the layers (for the red, white, and blue effect when cutting). The brim is painted mmf, and the blue ribbon and stars are mmf. The entire cake is covered in crusted buttercream and the other decorations are bc.
I did this cake for my aunt's house warming shower. It's suppose to be a 3D house with a swimming pool. The bottom is a 11X15 Choc. sheet cake, and the house is 2 6" yellow cakes stacked and I tapered the top for the roof.
This is a cake I did just practicing. It was pretty time consuming. It's completely covering in fondant. I've just started cake decorating and this has been a huge hit with everyone!!
I donated this cake as the Survivor cake for ACS Relay for Life this year. I couldn't find a large enough pan and didn't have time to order one, so I had to push two sheet cakes (1 yellow and 1 choc) up side by side and cover. The logo and decorations are all of fondant. Everyone was really impressed!!
This was my baby brothers birthday cake this year. He just started bull riding and has an accident a little over a month ago. He fell off of the bull and the bull landed on top of him. He was ok, just a few scrapes and bruises. We just gave him a hard time and told him that he was suppose to ride the bull, not the bull ride him. So for his birthday, I did this cake of the bull riding the cowboy. It's made with the crusting buttercream (faux fondant) and MMF! Very simple!!
This is a cake I created from a couple of other recipes and it turned out wonderfully!!! It's very simple to make. I have put the recipe in the recipes here on this site under the same name. It's a chocolate, chocolate chip cake with chocolate dipped strawberries and a chocolate glaze poured over top. Yummy!!!!!
I just did this cake this week for a friend of mine. She needed a cake for her church womens group party/meeting. They had a luau theme.
