This was for my youngest son's 2nd birthday party. He LOVES the movie Cars. The bottom is a choc pralines & cream cake w/ cookies & cream mousse. It is suppose to be the town of Radiator Springs. The top is yellow cake w/ strawberry cheesecake mousse filling. It is suppose to be the scenery off of Route 66. The top is suppose to be a like a bilboard w/ a scenic pic. The cake is covered in CBC (bottom also has pralines & cream flavoring in the icing) w/ fondant accents (except cars)
Cake was for a lady who has a place at the beach and LOVES it. Kids wanted something to do with that. This was my first castle of any kind. Alot was learned here!!!! Cake is covered in CBC with crushed cookies, sugar, and luster dust for "sand".

Customer just requested a colorful halloween cake and to "bring it" (my A Game). This is what I came up with. After having to throw away the first cake (I forgot to put the support dowels in the cake and squashed the cake), I was pretty pleased with the outcome. All CBC with fondant accents. This was for a lady who loves bees. Cake is yellow covered in CBC and airbrushed bottom half green, and top half lt. blue for the ground/sky effect. The flowers are gumpaste, and the bee is a mini ball pan with the head made from rkt and covered in cbc and fondant.
This cake was sooooo much fun to make. The customer sent me a pic of a cake that she liked and wanted me to try and replicate it with some little tweaks here and there. This is what she got. All CBC with choco pan zebra stripes, white chocolate tiara dusted with pearl luster dust and a hot pink and black feather boa.
Cake for a pooh themed baby shower. Couple just adopted a 9 month old little girl and had been waiting for so long. They wanted something special. Banner says "A shower of gifts to welcome a baby, full of love and joy for Miss Alaini" (babies name). Cake is covered in CBC with fondant accents.
This was for a man who loves fishing and has a ton of dogs. Customer said he rescues dogs and has about 20. So to bring his 2 passions together, this is what he got. Cakes covered in CBC with fondant and gumpaste accents.

This was inspired by a cake by rstml, a fellow CC member. Although her's was much better, this is exactly what the wife wanted for her husband. TThis cake was soooo much fun to make. The bottom is choc. with choc mousse filling and the top is choc with regular BC filling. All decorations are either choc pan or gumpaste.
This was for the principal at my son's school. The secretaries and assistant principal got it for him. He is a big Carolina Tarheel fan and a big golfer. Cake is yellow with cream cheese filling and covered in CBC. Golf bag is a rice krispie treat covered in fondant.
Birthday person is in the national guard and loves to work in his garden. Camo star tip piped cake w/ fondant basket w/ veggies and fondant dog tags.
Customer's daughter loves country music and playing soccer, and wanted a big 21 on top. All decorations are fondant except piped music notes with cowboy hats and boots.

The teacher for the preschool class designed this cake and sent it to me. It's covered in CBC with fondant/gumpaste cap, diploma, and 2007. The children graduating from the preschool class names are on the other 3 sides of the cake.

Customer wanted an "old goat" for a man turning 90, but wanted it to be a small cake. Hopefully, the birthday boy enjoyed his humorous cake. Goat is carved out of a mini loaf and head is a mini egg. All covered in fondant with gumpaste/fondant glasses, hat, & horns.
Birthday girl wanted her in a pool with pink, and this is what she got. All decorations are fondant/gumpaste.
I sure hope that the customer knows these 2 people very well. He specifically said he wanted 2 goats and for it to say "Happy Birthday to 2 old goats Angela and Annie". Glad I wasn't there when he presented this cake. All CBC with gumpaste goats
